I have never see any first Lady in African Continent that build this remarkable place for less privileged people to build their life. Normally, many African first lady talk about their foundation. This is the first of its kind in the African continent. It shows the love and appreciation the Madam Clar have for adopted home of Liberia

Everyone praising Clar Weah forgetting to know that funds used is not out of charity BUT YOUR TAXES. If she had so much "love" for Liberia why it wasn't done before her husband became President? I hold my applause until we know how it was funded. The money laundered from our taxes could have been used for other struggling hospitals/clinics without the basic medical needs or paying health workers. What are the logistics for supporting this "city"? Our taxes again? Is it under the control of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare? We are too gullible.

Your country is so poor it needs any and every development it gets. Also do you think taxes in Liberia amounts to any significant amount? Liberia is still one of the 10 poorest nations depending mostly on donations not taxes. If Liberia was left to depend on taxes you’ll have deaths from starvation, some government offices would close, you’ll have no electricity at all, no roads and buildings like the ministerial complex from China, Japan freeway from Japan, free buses from India, millions from EU to get Mount Coffee dam running again, no power would come from the Ivory Coast, etc…. Liberia depends on “plea gay me” You may mean well but first get your facts right before saying anything about something you don’t know. You can’t say because hospitals need equipment so no body in government can carry on any other development. We have health ministry for that. Let’s say Clar is a demon who indeed is using your money (if you’ve ever pay taxes in your life) would you rather she use it in Liberia and benefit Liberians or take it all to Jamaica? If we have proof of her embezzlement let’s 100% stand against it but until then be positive, encourage and praise good works or at least don’t be negative about a good thing.
In the USA we don't depend on our husband. Women makes their own money and man makes their own money. Eating my husband's money it is still not a Crime. By the way, very nice place here Clar W. built.

Personally I think that waterproof clay fire brick as Vermeer wasp would have been better instead of paint costly to maintain over time n fading with rain n sun UV light
The first lady say she got two restaurant and she put three show three finger. Did she have three restaurant or two. They Liberian should investigate more about that infiastiucture. Is the first lady trying to say that they Liberian money isn't involved in that project? Why will she want to used her ow money to helped they Liberians? The true is it's had to believe 🙄
@Ford. She's getting donation fron good Liberian. But the children she's building their lives will become great and will build on her legacy. Her name will be remembered for good for generations just as we remember those who destroyed the country.
Liberian got the nerves to ask where actually are you getting this money from wow really when you have the people in liberia fishing in gross dirty lakes, showering with buckets as they use the same water lakes using the restroom for drinking water. Outrageous you need another person's from another country to assist liberia. The question is what are the Liberian people doing to stop the property and crime nothing. How about clean the streets and the lakes omg outrageous.
