We've gone on many cruises, usually 10 days or 14 days. We each take an overnight bag and a small tote. Because we take meds, I don't know how 9 months of refills would work. We've talked to people who take 45 day cruises with very little luggage, I'd try that. Tina, Al's wife
I cruised this ship on the 4-day sailing before this voyage in a balcony cabin in December. I was underwhelmed by the vocal performers, pool, Solarium and the thermal spa. The whole pool deck and solarium were basically hijacked by a some, very drunk and obnoxious passengers jamming into the whirlpools and basically being a nuisance in the bars to the point where you couldn't hear the performers (Pub). It was frustrating that the crew didn't intervene. I couldn't believe what people were wearing -- tshirts with swear words, very skimpy swimwear. Not classy. The spa was awful! Broken equipment. I saw a spa employee raise her voice like a school teacher to some people who were attending a seminar, which was odd. Long waits at guest services. Also, it's too bad they took out Ben & Jerry's because the ice cream served in the MDR was oddly grainy and just not good. Embarkation and debarkation out of Miami was dreadful. However, the MDR and Windjammer were very good in comparison to 3 other Royal cruises I took last year. And the mattresses were the best I've had on a cruise. I also really liked the Schooner Bar. and the Cinema Hopefully people are having fun!
on the cruise wish I wasnt. You have nothing to envy here some of the trashiest people 60 kids that run around screaming it’s ridiculous. There’s nothing ultimate about it except a joke.
Children being children aka having fun, doesn’t bother me for the most part. Of course, there is a time and a place. For example the MDR is not a place for children to be running and being loud, also late at night down the hallways would not be appropriate. However, the pull deck, the sports courts, and other general areas during the day is fine. There is no greater sound then the laughter of children anytime, especially when they are experiencing the trip of a lifetime.
