The Grand Floridian says "I'm the fanciest Disney resort" while the DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel both said *"Hold my sake".* From the artwork to the wallpaper, this is wonderful. Here's a Beauty and the Beast fun fact: The original tale doesn't have Gaston! With the omission of Belle’s sinister siblings (where her father was a merchant and had sisters who kept demanding him for jewelry and gowns while she just wanted a single rose), Disney realized they needed to create a villain to ramp up the stakes. Inspiration for Gaston comes from Jean Cocteau’s 1946 masterpiece La Belle et la Bête, in which the antagonist, Avenant, is hellbent on marrying Belle and killing Beast.
I would love to see you do the Cinderella room sometime! That movie has some of the most beautiful backgrounds of ALL time, and I'd love to see if they bring that beautiful art style into the room
4:20 Not Beauty and the Beast! That one is Sleeping Beauty, another French tale! “La Belle au bois dormant” means “The Beauty in the Sleeping Forest”. Saying “Good boy” to the stool caught me off guard 😂. And the stained glass of the castle in front of the toilet is definitely brilliant. Brings a different meaning to “royal flush” 😉. Sure you don’t get a great view of the park, but at least you still get a view of the adorable monorail! LOVE this room! Sacrificing a good view for an incredibly themed room is a small price to pay for salvation. When it comes to detail, there’s no denying Tokyo Disney goes above and beyond. And we get a touch of Chris lore as part of this review...you may have been a baker in the play but honestly, you'd make a great LeFou or Lumiere with your personality!
Wow... I wanna stay!!! You did a great job with the presentation on this video Chris... Fantastic sense of detail and as engaging and audience centered as always... Great entertaining video showing Disney lovers the inside scoop on a room most of us didn't even know about... You're a pro!...
Each hotel is huge! In each, is there just one of each of the themed rooms or several within each hotel? Are there generic non-story themed rooms? When I make it to Japan, I for sure intend to stay in the B&B room! I also am in love with MiraCosta. I'd like to have a room overlooking the canal and the gondoliers, which is about as close to Venice as I care to get.
It’s unfortunate that in the US we can’t get beautifully themed rooms like this. Somehow they want to make them all modern and they don’t think people want them.
Think that Japan Knows(!) how to do Disney...from the merch, the hotel rooms, to the parks... they got the assignment and WAY surpassed the teachers expectations.
Absolutely beautiful! If only I had the money for such a thing (which is why I watch these travel vlogs in the first place). I think I would be most tempted by the Alice in Wonderland room, or the Kingdom Hearts room if it was available. Though my roommates would /definitely/ book themselves in a Stitch room. Looks like an absolute dream!
So enchanting love how the room is decorated with some of the characters featured in the film thanks for sharing this video really enjoyed it and hopefully someday I will get to experience this 👍❤️
The beauty and the beast suite is awesome, themed wall paper and lovely framed artwork. Looks very expensive to stay in. Got the Disney classic animation on DVD,
I wanted to know which themed room is the best in majority ... Alice in Wonderland or Tinker Bell or Beauty and the Beauty or the Cindrella themed room ? .... Please do reply ❤
We have stayed at the standard room with park view. I t was nice with vacation package. Too bad they don’t offer the package now. We are thinking to go for the bb room this time around. Maybe we can meet you again at the hotel just like 5 years ago.
It depends on what country you're coming from and what devices you want to charge. If it's an iPhone the two prong USB wall-charger works and some hotels have USB outlets in the room.
I don't know if this is going to get me banished from this channel, but some aspects of these character rooms remind me of love hotels. I wonder if they are designed that way somewhat on purpose to be maybe a date or anniversary location spot. (Not as in... rent by the hour sort of way, but maybe a couple might just rent the hotel room for a weekend or a day or two, rather than as a place to stay to go to the park)
LOL, yeah the phone sound was driving me crazy! I kept thinking it was my phone (but oh well what can you do? I swear, stock apple phone sounds give me so much anxiety, I wish they were illegal to use in commercials)
Love the room. I know you're probably not able to repsond to many questions, but maybe anyone might know. I have noticed a lot of the themed rooms at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel all have "twin" beds. Are there rooms that at least have a queen or king size bed? I'm 6'4" or 193 cm tall.
It looks like there's only twin. The TDR website lists all the rooms with what rooms have what types of beds. www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/hotel/tdh/room.html
Love the entrance video with Lumiere...too cute. This resort looks like what the Grand Flo in Orlando wishes it was. And glad for the reminder on Fantasy Springs..trying to hold off on our Japan adventure til there's a Rapunzel ride 😍
Couldn’t believe how much the wallpaper had changed up that space … that’s a cool fact abt the history you have w beauty and the beast … thanks for sharing
Since Duffy is exclusive for Disney Sea at TDR, Miracosta is the place if you want a duffy themed room, but it was a seasonal thing when they did those, I don't think they have it now. They have Duffy themed food at the buffet though.
Wow! one of these days when I can afford to stay there I will. The attention to detail, it's gorgeous, and just overall seems like a magical place to stay
I love this video! I forgot how gorgeous that hotel is. My family and I stayed in a Beauty and the Beast room. Ours had an alcove with a bed in addition to the two regular beds. Our son decided to sleep in the alcove. It was great to come back to such a beautiful room after a fun filled day at the parks. At night, the little bathroom window looks cool from the bedroom side when the bathroom light is on and the bedroom lights are off. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit to Japan.
Loved this video!! I just made the decision to stay at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel for my next trip but in a classic room. I love the theming of the Beauty and the Beast room so much, though, especially with the Enchanted Tales ride open! I will say I wish they still do the exclusive luggage tags that you showed a few years ago! Also "La Belle Au Bois Dormant" actually means Sleeping Beauty! It's the name of the castle in Paris, too!
I personally think that a lot of the colors and patterns clash a bit too much for my liking. I personally love everything in the room, just not all of it together all at once. The entryway is definitely my favorite part!
Thanks for doing this video. I was looking at booking at the beauty and best room when reservations open up for my upcoming trip. This video gives me a good look at the room. Whether i book this one or not will probably depend on my financial situation at the time, its a nice room but theres alot of stuff i could live without
Just booked a trip for our first international Disney trip to Disneyland Paris. Super excited but after binging your videos I desperately wish we were headed to Tokyo!😩🤣
It is Worth every yen! haha... My room was the center wing... looking towards the Castle. AWESOME! Im planning to stay there again in the future. Hope to see you!
