I understand that this comment is half a year old, but I wanted to let you know the problem with that. When you release the firing mechanism, it needs energy to go against the coil. If this energy is large enough to pull the spring and fire, the spring isn't strong enough to reset it. If the spring was strong enough to reset it, the crossbow wouldn't fire in the first place. So unless you manually reset the spring each time, it wouldn't work. And at that point, that's just an extra step.

@@Ethan_FPV What if you have a mechanism like in old watches where you crank the coil a bunch? 😄 Like, you'd reload your bolts and give the coil a good dozen cranks. Then when you pull the trigger, the string disengages from the coil and fires. Once the trigger is released, the coil mechanism grips the string back into firing position, a bit like how an escalator takes you up and down the subway. It'd probably be a very chunk crossbow and it might be a bitch to crank. I'm not sure if it'd work but uhhhhh, yeah... 😅

@@Ethan_FPV Oh, I just thought of something!! The coil could be cranked in advance and incorporated into the magazine. Each magazine has its own coil so you don't even have to crank between mags. It'll just take a while to prepare the magazines. Or, there could even be one coil for every bolt packed into each magazine!!!

Almost all of the countries use meters, only US and a few others don't, so it's more logical if it's made in meters.
