best house I’ve ever seen so far. Far better than “the one” in LA. The only shortcoming is that it’s too expensive, but it’s not its fault, it’s my fault 😭
Wow… 😉
Wow I really like that place guys very good place. Thank you Patrick for making my whole day and week was nice to see you more then a reflection :) hope you both have a great week and remember I need your mailing address to send your present to you ;) xxx
The interior design is a big let down. Must've been decorated by the previous owner.... For such a high price point home, I think the style is too specific. Views and outdoor areas are fantastic though Maro brothers have shown us so much better interior designs in homes that cost a fraction of the price!
Ok guys you sold me .. I’ll take it lol. I’m actually lost for words for this home .. not like me huh lol . It’s truly spectacular.. that pool area makes me wanna just live in that area it looked so cosy and was a really phenomenal area with stunning views .. beautiful home guys .. great tour again .. Maro gang for life 🙌🏼
I love this house. If I had the money, I'd buy this instantly. I love the "old world" style of decor. This place is awesome. A few comments: 1) The dinosaur skull is very cool. 2) I absolutely love the colour scheme in many of the bedrooms. 3) You can't beat those great views. 4) That boxing ring can easily be converted into a wrestling ring. 5) This house itself is a work of art.
Yeah, I was shouting holy crap when I see this, so unique. LA mansion often lacks personality and feels cold, which means the builder often just build it and wait to sell it.
Of all the modern houses in french riviera , this one is acceptable to "french riviera" vibe. Because the rest of the new modern french riviera houses are copying L.A. homes they are just ruining the colorful beauty of the french riviera. Marbella modern houses still has the andalucian vibe so can't complain.
I've seen pictures of this place for years, I can't believe you guys got in here! Fantastic! What's in the section past the parking area, it looks like 2 floors...
this whole mansion can coast 10 million dollars in my country and it can even be better than this one but it matters on the place. if you’re wondering where i’m from, i’m from lebanon
I love the elegance in the decor. This house is breathtaking and proves how coziness can be achieved in a mega mansion. So refreshing to see after seeing typical white marble mega mansion everywhere
Dare to compare this beautifully designed home with similarly priced offerings from the USA. Coast to coast, save two or three there really is no comparison.
Hi Marobrothers, that is an awesome mansion, but to paying this prize is worth it? it looks luxurious and fancy but are they made with good material? ( it is hard to tell when looking at the picture)
Meh. For something so cash heavy, one would think they'd have been a little more agnostic with the architecture and interior decorating. As is, the decore and practically everything about this property is quite niche, and so niche, if I have $1B in the bank, and an itch for this property, I'd much rather bulldoze the whole things, and start from scratch with something more tastefully elegant, understated, less gaudy, and subtantially more agnostic in styling and decore so the next person that might buy it won't have to really love bamboo, and some other part of the world that isn't Southern France. I mean, if you're going to be in Southern France, embrace it and quit trying to bring outher parts of the world to it. If i wanted to be surrounded by Thailand, Vietnam, or whatever the interior decor of this places is all about, I'd go spend substantially less than $65 M in one of those places and get significantly more. ... sorry, I'm an architectural and decore snob, and this place is an insult to $65M in my opinion, but, meh, that's my opinion. :P
@@TheMarobrothers - Thanks. Love this channel, ❤ but, also can't help but notice a lack of criticism for questional decision-making in architecture and interior decorating. Some places are just like "lots of money was spent here, sooo, it must be good, right?", when in fact theey're just gaudy, pretentious, inelegant, impractical, and look like something a poor person imagines wealthy people want. I personally don't really like Belle Epoque style either, but, at the same time, it's more than acceptable and even sometimes preferred as a choice for this area of the world because it's a traditional architectural style associated with the South Western French Riviera. My personal tastes fun more toward the "Pengilly House" in South Africa, and many of the works of American Architect Wallace E. Cunningham when it comes to modern designs, but, I'm also of the opinion a structure should be designed ppropriately for its area, to reflect and enhance the local culture, whatever that local culture is, or, at least try to maintain an agnostic footprint. When in Rome, be Roman. When in Japan, be Japanese, When in Southern France in the French Riviera ... don't try to be in Vietnam, Malasia, or some other place ... especially for $65M. Those places exist to live in and if they're so important, then, the actual places should be moved to and lived in ... not brought to the French Riviera ... with exceptions, of course, like a themed dining establishment 😀 It'd certainly be lovely if you guys did a tour of South Africa and dropped in on the Pengilly House, or toured California for the works of Cunningham. Big motor and sailing superyacht tours might be nice too as your tour of the sailing ship was quite different and fun.. Thanks for all your work.
Will watch the video after posting this, Dominik and Patrick, so Excited to see Villa Alang- Alang, KEEP up the Great videos, I am sure this will be Amazing!!!!!! Just so great that you are doing this tour of this Stunning property!!!!!
Nice pool. I assume the house was designed as a resort, not a home. I think with a view like that and aiming for luxury that the living room etc needs better indoor/outdoor design. They appear enclosed and then miss out on the views and the open feeling. That might be possible to change for modest cost and could be well worth it. Battery electric vtol aircraft to take guests into town directly out into the the view would be a nice touch once such vehicles are available but that's years away :) A resurrected young Rik Mayall might also be fun as a waiter :)
there is 1 thing i do not understand. why did they use those metalboxes with rocks in it at 29:49. I know there needs to be a retaining Wall but please show some love the building itself is a architectural masterpiece. Give it the love it needs
The location , view and landscaping is 10/10 but the quality of the interior material used everywhere together with the furniture is 1/10 it’s a disaster. Who ever made this home have no taste , only lucky enough to have purchased a plot of land with great view.
Just stupid. The owner will be dead in 20 years. Those that inherited the property won't be able to pay the taxes and maintenance. By than it's outdated and tacky.
@@TheMarobrothers To be honest, I really had enough of spain... You should stay in the south of France fo awhile (Cap d'Antibes, Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat, Cannes & St-Tropez) and why not in Switzerland. Italy could be a good option too, near the Lac Como. Cheers guys!
This house is phenomenal! A tad ostentatious, but gorgeous nonetheless. The grounds complement the home exquisitely. What a thrill to be able to see it! Aren’t Koi fish what Americans call “ Carp”?
