In the second part of this series, my 11th grade students from the Villa Soleada Bilingual School and I enter the Copán Ruins. Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to surprise the students by covering all the expenses of the trip. What are the Copán Ruins like? How are the famous macaws? Why are Hondurans called "catrachos"? How was the Mayan civilization destroyed? How is Chinese food in Copan? Let's explore together with my students and volunteers.
