National projects of this nature, roads, railways, health sector, education should be done from the sitting government in cooperation with the opposition. By opening ceremonies, both parties should be present. So that in future no one side can claim all credits for itself.

No. But think logically. Having an airport like that where it opens room for more investors to come and feel comfortable from arrival, gives sense of security to their investment. That same investor(s), will create jobs, jobs which will allow you to eat the food you're after. Those same investors will bring money into the economy contributing to our GDP. So please don't be narrow minded and look at the bigger picture, which is currently focusing on infrastructure. God bless.
