When Kenny acknowledged Chuck and said that he made a nice point, I got scared for a moment there. Then Kenny brought it back around the turned it into a story about his own career with the Rockets, and all was right with the world once again.
All games without Steph will show us what everybody is wondering - is this young group of guys really good and ready to eventually take over or are they just riding the wave of Big three.
They were dismantling Boston without him as well. I mean he's their 2nd best player for sure, but the win rates simply goes downhill when Steph's not there even compared to Wiggs absence. The audacity of ppl always calling Steph's got a stacked team when his team has always been down bad without him is ridiculous and what needs to be corrected by providing those stats and data.
@@judyclarkson5887 when Warriors made noise in the playoffs and Steph got injured he did have stacked teams but it doesn't mean he's not that valuable to GS. Poole was paid so it's time to show he's the next guy
Jordan can score easily but he hasn’t learnt how to make his points count towards the team yet. That’s the difference between players like Steph and players with good stats on middling teams. Steph is not out there just trying to score for himself, he knows when to dial it up or dial it down, pick the team up with timely baskets, or find the players who need a bucket to keep them involved (mostly Klay lol). Jordan is just out there playing right now, hope he can learn how to maximise the system, because he has the talent.
@@bloatedstomach1678 who said he hasn’t been? Poole gets buckets but he doesn’t affect the game like a superstar would, his baskets barely mean anything to the team and the warriors play better basketball without him as of today. Just watch the games, it’s so glaringly obvious it only takes a couple of possessions to notice.
@@EdwardElfigo Are you blind? Klay's been chucking since last season and is by far the most selfish player on the team. Poole regularly dishes out 8 assists a night. They had to have a team meeting to address Klay's shot selection because they were so bad.
@@anonymousl5150 you obviously don’t watch any games lmfao Klay is getting no touches when Poole is on the court, which then gets him frustrated and that’s when he gets into chugging mode, cause he ain’t know when he’s going to be receiving the ball again. You guys must either be kids or really knew at basketball.
No Steph, no Wiggins, no D'Vincenzo, the other Green, Klay and Looney didn't play well so out the gate I knew it was a wrap, imagine what that score will look like when they play the Nets on a back to back and Klay don't play in back to backs...it might be 100 point deficit 💀That's why I don't watch any games when Steph is out, I just check the score on google😂😂😂
Excuses for warriors, let this be brookkyn or lakers and they would be all over them. When kd carried brooklyn last year I didn't hear charles saying this. So is draymond and klay bus drivers?
The difference with GSW compared to EVERY OTHER team in the league is that THEY ARE BUILT FOR THIS EXACT REASON! Steve Kerr and Coach Pop both know the season is ultimately a battle of attrition. Klay will come into form and Curry will rejoin his team even better than he left it. It felt like he was forcing it, but now the league forces them to be better. There's a difference. I'd rather have these troubles early in the season than later. Kerr is about the playoffs, and getting there with positive momentum. If Warriors are fully healthy, there is no team that can beat them. Every other team is playing the wrong game. This is why Kerr is LEGEND. He understands the LONG GAME!
Can we please aknoledge the absent of Wiggins is just as crucial as not having Steph. Steph got hurt and everyone made it there headline but the Warriors were already struggling big time without Wiggins on the floor before Steph's injury. Mind you wiggins is avg 20 a game shooting 54% from the field and a defensive threat. I can't stand how social media always makes it about just Steph when wiggins has missed there past 9 games and they have gone 2-7 in that stretch. Both Steph and wiggs are top 5 in the league in plus minus. Both need to be in game not just Steph. It's time we stop with this biased attitude and start respecting other talent. GS wpuld not be champions without the play of Steph nor Wiggins.
a 3&D guy without his guard setting him up ( greatest shooter and defensive distraction of all time ) is not crucial lol its a miss but he will not do what curry does and what happened to this warriors depth they had??? the future?? 😂 everyone swore the 2nd and 3rd year guys were going to carry the load and so far they look lost
When the player with the team's highest usage rating is out, everyone's usage rating goes up to make up for the loss. Some will finally get exposed as frauds while others will be discovered as diamonds in the rough. Whatever happens, the truth is coming out.
How about Draymond scoring more than single digits? Why is no one saying that Draymond has to score more? Is single-digit scoring the best anyone can expect from Draymond?
Steph going down might be the best thing to happen to them this season. Getting over the Championship Hangover is harder for younger teams - and these guys are younger now. There's no Porter, Bjelica, GP2 or even Iguodala on the court to spread that urgent mindset
Like Chuck said,, all they need to do is to tread water. Expect them to lose again tomorrow against Nets, but hopefully they can win some gms when they go back to Chase Center.
If GSW will not play like a team ball movement they will not win hero ball is a nothing poole should learn how to play 5 players not a hero ball he will dribble and he will shoot the ball and thats not good basketball
It should been mentioned that Andrew Wiggins is out as well. The Golden State Warriors is now basically Stephen Curry & Andrew Wiggins as the co-leaders of the team.
Kenny, stop lying! You didn't average 18, more like 17 with Sacramento Kings, but ok not far off. You averaged 17 points one season with the Rockets. And the year you won a ring, you're saying you averaged 16,17 points with Hakeem and when he went out it went up. Hmm... how come you averaged 11.6 points that season though? And the other Championship season you averaged 10.4. Doesn't add up. This guy always trying to make himself better than he was...I mean you were, for that time, a very good 3 point shooter, had a good FG%, but you were never a scorer or Assist guy, you had great moments in the Playoffs, but also terrible ones. You were an average player, stop lying about your stats.
Look folks , these Jokers are Face Value baffoons . It seems like everyone is narrow minded to why the Warriors are so inept now . Here are the glaring reasons why the Warriors are getting destroyed / Throttled on a regular Basis , and it's not just because of Injuries . Losing MVP Candidate Steph Curry for any amount of time is a HUGE loss Yes , Giving Jordan Poole 35 Million per Season was Wise . But the problem that causes Is when he moves to the starting lineup there's nobody replacing his Production on the Second Unit from Last Season . The Warriors have no 6th man at all now because of it . That has to be addressed soon in a Trade . Moody or Kuminga haven't taken that role at all . Losing Vets like Iguadala , Bjelica , Lee , Toscano , and Porter Jr , on the Bench for 3 point Shooting / Defense / Passing has been HUGE from a Leadership standpoint . Losing a Bulldog on Defense. , 3 Point Shooter , Energy guy , Dunk Master , and the NBA Steals Season Leader from last Season GP2 has been missed James Wiseman has been a bust for the Warriors for 3 Seasons now . He just hasn't fit this team . The Warriors keep moving him back and forth from the Minors to the Majors . The Warriors just don't have a Dominant Shot Blocking Center or PF to team with Draymond around the Rim . So teams just slash to the Bucket on them at will . Steve Kerr has to be blamed for this Greg Popovich Spurs Load Management stuff he has been doing with Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson . Klay needs to be in more Games playing as a Top Scoring Option . But the main problem is losing Mike Brown and Ron Adams as Defensive Coordinators has been devastating for the Warriors . The Kings coached By Brown have throttled the Warriors as a Result this season .
They got 4 rings though, most of these teams have been breaking their necks for years trying to get just 1 and most of those players are about to turn 50 with nothing to show for it🤷🏽♀😂😂I'll take my guys over them all day😊🏆🏆🏆🏆
Despite being on national televised games, I feel like the TNT crew only watch Warriors games during the playoffs. Curry was out at the end of last season and Poole stepped up. They're acting like it's the first time
Totally different teams in a lot of ways tho. When Steph went down last season they were one of the best in the league. Now, it's concerning in a diff way. The warriors 2nd unit is frankly pretty garbage rn.
The key players that were hurt last yr are back this year. He ain’t out dueling most of those western conference teams and these stacked eastern conference teams unless they below top 8
great exchange of thoughts guys 👍 i totally agree, it's in disguise, team rises up and contribute to fill up that SC role 😃😅 it's a good thing for all actually 👍👍 now they gauge themselves and assess and make adjustments until they all fit in/lock in till the finals 💪💯 yahooo!!! back-to-back 🏆🎉 yeheyyy
I think he just doesn't want to bash them while they're down. He was definitely mocking them before Steph got hurt, saying they are going to struggle this season while the rest of the crew were all calling him crazy before the Warriors dropped below .500
@@greyyb8860 Cap. Lakers have dealt with injuries all year. They never got that excuse though. Keep eating the media narrative. If the Lakers are trash, so are the Warriors.
hahah, they said blessing in disguise. when they lose 7 or 8 of there next 10 I don't think anyone is going to be saying blessing in disguise. This team is a bottom feeder without Steph and Wiggs right now.
Steph-less Warriors aren't "treading water," they're fuking DROWNING! Back-to-back blowout losses. Behind by 40 points at the HALF. Kuminga more turnovers than points. By his absence, Steph is making his best case for MVP.
Kerr hasn't developed talent so the young guys not playing well shouldn't be surprising. Jordan Poole was developed by the G- League. The Warriors' core went to the playoffs twice and suffered a game 7 defeat before Kerr got there. So they had experience.
if klay doesn't get back to his old numbers now that steph is out, I don't think he ever will... he's had enough time to get into his rhythm, and he's only done it for brief moments... (and i'm a gsw fan, don't think I'm a hater)
Kenny talkin out his ass with his Rockets story. He didn't average anywhere near that many points nor did Hakeem get injured before their run, unless he means years earlier and his first year in Houston, which is years off from their champion run and him being a scorer.
3-15 on the road and their best player is out for several weeks but people believe they have a Championship Pedigree! Damn I thought Lakers fans were delusional man Warriors fans are lying to themselves. The Warriors are not a good basketball team right and are aging right before your very eyes. Steph putting up 30 every night and their losing on the road by 10+ points🤣🤣🤣
haha. Please. They've been the Golden Boys for years on TNT and every other NBA broadcast. Heck, even while watching my MEM Grizzlies playing the Nuggets on TNT every other commercial was featuring Chicken Curry. I know that's not the TNT team, but GS still top of their news too even when struggling. Just the angle is different. They NEVER stop talking about GS. Good or bad.
Those dudes are replaceable with other veterans if they make a trade, WIGGINS not playing is the main thing that's killing them because that's both offense and defense. The bench is too young and have so much potential but this season is not enough time to get them together but that same young bench shocked me when they went toe to toe with a healthy Pelicans team with all their players and the game was close the entire time with all 5 of Golden State starters sitting out, that was crazy and it shows they can be deadly but it's too inconsistent then tonight Klay and Looney both didn't play well, D'Vincenzo and the other Green out and there goes all the defense so that sure didn't help lol
They werent having a good season even when steph was healthy. Chuck stop talking like if they can keep it at 500 and then steph comes back tgat they are gonna finish top 4 cause they not
Warriors have bigger problems than just missing Curry. They are not getting defensive stops like they once did. Even with Curry, this year, their record is not great. Missing Wiggins is just as important as missing Curry. And this team needs to focus on defense and rebounding. The offense will happen if they can get stops and get in transition.
Steph's injury might be a blessing for the warriors..more playing time for the youngsters and hopefully with more minutes come development...but i am more concerned about klay and dray..seems both players have retrogressed...hopefully i am wrong..steph needs these two and wiggs to be at their best or close to it..plus a better defence to repeat...
This is potentially a season ending injury. Wait and see is how it’s being described for a time table. Having had 3 surgeries on one shoulder and 1 surgery on my other I know a labrum tear can seriously weaken the shoulder joint socket resulting in chronic dislocation. Complete post surgical recuperation for a full repair 2-3 months depending on how aggressively you rehab and your genetics. Hopefully, he can get it fully healed without surgical repair but if they wait 8-9 weeks to wait and see if he needs surgery curry would potentially be ready for the beginning of playoffs. if they make the playoffs without him and how effective he will be after 5-6 month layoff thrown into a playoff atmosphere.
@0:08-0:24....it's true that the Warriors aren't the same without Steph but that 2019-20 is deceptive. The Warriors didnt have Steph AND Klay. When neither is available they struggle.
I have zero animosity towards Kenny as a human or a person. I'm sure he's a lovely guy, but ho boy! I find him incredibly grating as a person on this show.
