No other player today would actually show up to show and face their critics like this lol they’ll say everything they can on twitter but never would they actually come and defend themselves like this which you gotta give Kobe mad props for doing this
@@painless4785there wasn’t but he could’ve made a commercial, said something in interview, but no. Face to face on air, live. That gesture is not common in todays nba
They don't make them like they used to. Unfortunately. Problems easily solved through a brief face to face conversation, despite differences coming to a peaceful resolution.
He would've been the greatest Coach ever if he was still alive. He would have been more dominate in coaching than he was as a player. He was Special & Different in the most spectacular way
That was cool for Charles to apologize while being clear why he criticized Kobe... No yelling at each other, nobody taking it personal i.e. a certain 7fter. Kobe my favorite player but he gave up.. I never seen that in him before
Lol Kobes being all serious and talking about his knowledge about the game and what not, and Kenny has to remind him that he isn't in the playoffs.. GONE FISHING LOL
@meowdog this was their "game plan" ..."We wanted to get back in the game so we were running things through other guys," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "Nash was a little bit banged up and we were trying to use our inside out game." Beside kobe had 20+ in the first half in that game and Lakers were down by 15. Kobe scoring had nothing to do with the outcome of that game. Bottom line, the better team won!
I loved Kobe as a player, but I think he was making a statement by only taking 3 shots. He didn’t necessarily tank the game, but I’m sure he knew there was a high probability The Lakers wouldn’t win a game in which he only took 3 shots.
kobes one of the greatest ever, he smart ass fuck but he quit on his team down by 20points and dont take three shots in second half, iflebron does this he would get fried
Because if he'd been trying to score they probably could have won. I mean how's this even an argument. I totally respect Kobe's perspective here, it IS important to get teammates involved. But you're insane of you think they would have lost game 7 if Kobe had tried 😅
@@over1498 Kobe was making a point to Phil Jackson. Phil Jackson said he needed to move the ball more for them to win and he said to him okay and that’s exactly what he did and they got blown out. He was sending a message to the coach and the Lakers front office that the team sucked and they needed to make changes in order to actually win a chip. Remember, this was before the star players had all the power in the franchise like they do now.
@aaronschainm Aha I hate how people try and use rings to define the player! Robert Horry has 7 is he better than Jordan? NOOOO Rings dont make the better player just the better team! P.S. Talent wise Lebron is the Greatest! Kobe &Lebron>>>>>MJ
@aaronschainm Name calling?? Grow up Kid.....Anyway you clearly cant read I said people try and use the amount of rings to define the greatness of a player and I gave you a FACT saying Robert Horry was NOT better than Jordan however he has more rings!
