Come on bro. They just made a playoffs where more than half of the teams qualify. That was over the top and crazy. Also they were in the playoffs in 2018.Didn’t suck for that long
6:13 Notice Ty Lue being accountable, saying he should've made more adjustments to blitz D'Angelo and get the ball out of his hands. This is the difference between him and Doc, you'll never hear Doc say he should've made adjustments.
Give this moment to the team, fans, and the whole Twin City. As much as I'm disappointed to my Lakers, I'm very happy for the Wolves success this season. Hoping for more to come.
Of course laker fans would be the clippers have been good over the years and haven’t done much so idk what’s the point every year it’s excuse after excuse etc
My comment was meant for the Wolves and can be a comparison that the Lakers can do better because look how well they're on paper. Do you really think true Laker fans would not be disappointed on the performance they showed this season? Why on earth should I care about the Clippers when there's no real rivalry between the Lakers and Clippers? Talk to me when both teams finally clicks to have the very "anticipated" Battle of LA that I have been waiting for years.
Dlo was the only one that looked like he wasn’t satisfied. He played in the playoffs with the Nets. So he knows the feeling. Pat too, I think his emotions was from his history with the Clips, and the money situation. Everyone else felt like they won the ship😂😂😂
Only D-Lo and Pat will not celebrate like they won a title even though Beverley did because it was against the Clippers. The youngsters? You can kinda understand because it's either their 1st or 2nd time playing playoff Bball.
@@HooodClassicsTV nobody think they won a chip gtfo here bro. yall said this 35 times this year. how many banners we gotta raise with all these chips we supposedly won this year?
I've been down on Russell this year but I have to give him credit where credit is due, he really stepped up for us tonight, congratulations D'Angelo Russell, you had a wonderful game, keep it up!!!
The wolves hold the worst winning percentage in all of North American professional sports history, not just the nba. The jimmy butler team lacked any chemistry and wasn’t fun to watch/everyone knew they’d get worked by the rockets. In the case of pat bev, he beat the team that dumped his salary last offseason. The wolves also got worked by the clips in the regular season. This is not just another regular playin win. Oh yeah and they came back from being down ten in the 4th. They deserve to enjoy this, they had to watch Andrew Wiggins for half a decade.
100% so frustrating hearing NBA commentators and previous competitors ignore stuff this obvious. The culture has been losing for so long. This team of all teams in the league deserves to appreciate every single win along the way.
What a redeemed feeling for Pat Bev beating his former team to get in the Playoffs. Gotta enjoy the little battles along the way. Now back to business..
@@KrypTeK702 no they don't. Wayyyyy is a stretch. Plus this the playoffs not the regular season. We could say the Lakers played them well because they win 1 game. Phoenix blew them out also this season and lost two close games.
wait so its wrong to be passionate about the game youre dedicated to, and to celebrate winning games in an unsuccessful franchise? cool. lets see you take this franchise THERE
Clippers are in good hands. Jerry West is helping this cursed franchise, the same man who helped the Lakers get the right pieces creating dynasties, the same man behind Golden State's rise.
What i found funny about the wolves celebration was that after the game one of the players was interviewed and he said the team is not suprised by the win...yet at the same time this was happening 🤣🤣
These guys don't understand how real those emotions are for all Wolves fans. We've literally been the worst team year over year for almost two decades. Worst record in that time. Our only playoff showing was with a toxic team. This is something half of Wolves fans haven't even been able to enjoy because we weren't even old enough to comprehend it. Keep hating. LET'S GO WOLVES!!!!!
You're comment would make sense if your Wolves had just advance to the finals or at least made it to the conference finals. They just made the playoffs as 7th seed with 10 games over .500, nothing special even for a sucky team.
@@Cornelius87 that's what I've been trying to tell all these people. This wolves team have weak ass expectations for themselves. Thus the celebration. I remember one year dirk won the western conference finals and he didn't celebrate just walked out. That year they went on to win the chip. That's the mentality you need. Set your sights on the highest possible goal not fking winning the play ins. They celebrated like that's it for them. Winning the play in was their goal. Weak mindset. Dlo was the only guy that said we expect to be in this situation.
@@calvinvang4749 no, that mentality doesn't enjoy life. It's okay to celebrate the little things in life. Every moment can be big and life can pass you by in seconds. So enjoy the moment and appreciate it. You may not have that moment again...you never know. Every series success should be celebrated. Enjoy the moment and have fun.
I don’t care what you say about the emotions being showed or it being just a “play-in” game. I literally cried after we won this game. If you are not a Wolves fan then you will not understand the passion and excitement of finally making it to the playoffs after years and years of being the worse team in the NBA.
Ty Lue is a really good coach. They lost, but they're missing their best player and they kept it close. And Lue is taking all the blame for the loss in his press conference, even if he doesn't deserve it. You love to see it. As long as Kawhi comes back healthy the Clips are gonna be a problem next year.
@@reim1 I don’t know honestly between him and Jamal Murray and Steph and now Luka and all these other injuries, I can’t keep track of who’s coming back soon and who isn’t lol
Agreed Ty Lue is a brilliant coach to do this without his stars and I loved the ownership too. Stark contrast to Doc Rivers blaming Ben, Harden and others and not owning his poor plays and substitutions.
If this is Sacramento, I can understand that they will have over the top celebration, they haven't been to playoffs like forever. But Minnesota? You only had 4-year drought, stop it.
This reminds me of the first year the LeBron Miami Heat beat the Celtics in the eastern conference finals. They celebrated the conference banner like it was a 3peat! PATRICK BEVERLY CRYING IS HYSTERICAL
People who are not Wolves fans literally don't understand the pain we had to go through for the past 18 years. Multiple seasons where we barely won 20 games (sometimes only 17), poor chemistry even when we made it to the Playoffs with Jimmy, and more head coaches/drama than you can count. People legit laughed at PatBev for saying we're going to the playoffs at the beginning of the season! So yeah, it's a play-in game, but getting to the playoffs with this type of team is something this state hasn't had for so long in terms of the NBA. Give us some slack and let us celebrate.
I would LOVE a big man that can shoot 3s. I just want him to do BOTH! He needs to mix it up. Towns is out on the perimeter way too much. Thats good if you want to soften up the paint a little bit when going at the other team but you can't do it all the time. Embid has found a nice mix of outside game and inside domination
Need this more in sports. So much on emphasis need to enjoy minor accomplishments. Some people clowning could learn from this and they lives wouldnt be miserable.
@@thesanders5822 makes perfect sense, can’t make sense for someone with a brain the size of a pea. Not rocket science. Girls are emotional, understand my child? Don’t overwork that little brain too hard.
As a Wolves fan I love this. Team has been irrelevant and apathetic for years. Nice to see our guys putting everything they have into the game for the city
@@doozledorf7036 Our basketball teams have always been located primarily in Minneapolis. The Lakers played in the Armory, and the Wolves play in Target Center. Also, St. Paul is terribly mid in every way compared to the city on the other side of the Mississippi.
Also, don't go into the "what ifs" like Kenny and Charles are doing with the Clips and Kawhi, there are not "what if" in life, there is what is and that's it. I am not a Wolves Fan, not a Clippers hater, but Wolves won that game, they deserve to move into the Playoffs. L.A. still has another chance.
I think it's less about this game and more about saying how good the Clippers are. Remember, the Clippers' season isn't over. Also, the more you hype up the loser, implicitly you're hyping the winner, too.
I want them to go into 'what ifs' because this is the same team that has failed 2 years in a row. They had Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, and Patrick Beverley now they have Covington and Powell... it's the same thing..
Definitely over the top celebration but I wish I coulda been at that game. Almost reminded me of the KG days when the crowd was really into it. It's crazy how you can't even watch your home squad during the regular season unless you have cable TV. Hulu dropped Fox sports/Balley North so the only times I can watch the T-wolves is if they're on TNT, ESPN or ABC.
Feel really good for wolves fans. To not even be considered to have a chance to make the playoffs earlier this year. To being the 7th seed. Impressive.
They are so down on the Wolves after the win. Whatever, Let's keep rolling Wolves. Keep using the noise as motivation. Way to go. So proud of this team!
Saw one comment talking bout if it rained confetti it would be icing on the cake. Funny thing is I went to the hawks V hornets game and they actually did rain streamers from the rafters. No hyped up celebration like Pat, but thought it was funny considering we still have one more game before we're even in the playoffs.
Pat Bev said he expected to make the playoffs with this team after being traded. His mentality is rubbing off on the other players and that is what this team has been missing for years.
These guys dont understand how big a moment this is for the Wolves. I am a Thunder fan and I can tell you Minnesota's been trash for a long time. That one run to the 1st round with Butler was not an enjoyable team. This was a moment they deserve to celebrate. And for Pat Bev it was personal as well.
They’re NBA champions and hall of famers who have been involved with the NBA, just just as players but as analysts for decades; I think they get it, and it was also a bit much 💯
