Thibs should be held accountable for even playing Randle with a 3-1 series lead and Cleveland looking like they were just demoralized and out of it most of the series. Randle should have been sitting, not making his ankle worse. I like how Thibs has handled the team this postseason but if Randle can't play in the second round and we lose - you can bet the front office is going to notice that foolish mistake. Hopefully Julius can return and contribute. Because if he's going to be at 50% then I'd rather have Obi Toppin or Josh Hart at PF.

Cavs were outplayed by a better team. No defense in spite of their ranking first, no strong front court (Knicks were more physical), they couldn't stop Brunson. And, also, no bench. GM Koby Altman is going to have his work cut out for him in the offseason. He'll have to decide who they would draft out of college and what players to trade for to fill in the gaps. Granted a 51-31 record is a good one but doesn't mean anything if you're 4th seeded in your conference and can't get to the next round of the playoffs. Donovan Mitchell, just like with the Utah Jazz, is relegated to the first round. But you can't just rely on him and Darius Garland. The entire team has to click.
