The discussion should not be about what Minnesota isn't doing, it should be about the incredible play of Luka and how he comes up with these great plays both defensively and offensively to close out games. That's what they should be talking about. Dallas is playing better and they execute better because they are better. Luka is better. He comes up with steals at the end of the game that are very crucial, he feeds his guys the ball and gets them easy baskets and makes them feel great about themselves, he comes up with key rebounds, great passes, great shots. That's what they should be talking about, what he IS doing. There are many players on the Mavericks that are coming up with huge plays, not only Luka, but everything starts with him, that's the bottom line. Gafford is a beast down low, the way he protects the rim, the plays he makes when they count, same with Washington, of course Irving is huge, it's a beautiful thing to see, and that's what should be talked about. When you talk about greatness however, when you talk about coming up with the biggest plays that mean the difference of winning and losing you have to bring up Luka first because he is making those plays game in and game out. Five steals tonight? One block? Plus his usual top of the charts offense, why aren't they talking about how great he is? And what he's doing? It's just a shame, I hope that they win the championship, and I hope that will change the perception, the respect, and the way Luka is talked about among the media from now on
