Crazy how much "Tassa" has changed, I grew up two blocks up the street on the corner of 85th/D St. We used to hoop at the OLD gym and get free lunches at the rec center back in the late 80's and 90's (yeah i'm that old lol). After high school we moved away. I hadn't been over there for like 20 years until a couple of years ago when I decided to drive thru to see my old house and I didn't recognize anything. A lot of the East Oakland I grew up in looks different, now I know how my parents and grandparents felt.
