Nope Nairobi doesn't have the market with this magnitude, kariakoo is where Africa meets from Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, DRC, Rwanda, Burundi traders are flocking there to purchase their merchandise, kariakoo is the whole district of a market like 10 Eastleighs

The markets are knee-deep with people, need to be aware of pickpockets, I could spend the day browsing, clothes and shoes are very expensive here. Cheers!

With the cholera epidemic, what Africa needs is to build mall type markets than subjecting the local people to be selling on the streets. It’s ok as a temporary measure while the markets are being built but it shouldn’t be a long term trading practice. Thanks

Kariakoo is classified according to the items sold. There are areas for car parts, home utensils, motorcycles, food, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, hardware, home decor, electricity, and more. Each area is massive.
