I love your channel! You deserve to have 10 times as many subscribers and 100 times as many views as you do! please do not get discouraged please continue to put out these quality informative beautiful videos, I know eventually you will get the recognition that you deserve. the only suggestion I would make is that occasionally it's a little hard for me to understand some of your pronunciations because English is not your first language but I actually love your accent

Another great video 🙂 I'm intrigued how you know that the smaller statue was a 'pharaoh' kneeling in front of Ptah. Its a shame that they are so badly damaged. You never cease to amaze me with how much you know. I'm still in great wonder of how they made that hole so perfect and what kind of stone is it please? Do you have any explanation on how they made it? Sorry for all the questions... Thankyou so much Irena 🧡🧡🧡

Many such statues are in museums, if this one were in better condition, it would be there too. Fortunately, there are hundreds of Sekhmet statues... They are most likely made of diorite, created by talented and patient sculptors, thank you Mark

@@ancientsitesgirl Thankyou Irena, as neither copper nor bronze is sufficiently hard to cut such stones as basalt, granite and diorite, the ancients must have used some sort of harder stone tools to carve them. It must have been extremely hard to work the stone into such precise statues. Maybe one day we will get closer to the truth. Keep safe 🙂🧡🧡🧡
