Man I swear college athletes get treated like royalty. That's why I regret not taking track and field more seriously when I was in high school. If I had known they got it good like this, I would've worked my ass off all day everyday. I didn't reach anywhere near my full potential, and I had every opportunity to do so. So whoever is going to college, or aspiring to play college sports, no matter if it's D1, D2, D3, juco, naia, please don't take that shit for granted. I promise you they will be the best years of your life.

We've had our ups and downs. As a current student outside of athletics all I can say is the school is amazing. A top tier institution for sure. The campus is large and fairly nice, college station is great, the traditions are awesome, the student body is very friendly, and the academics are great. Can't recommend it enough honestly.

where did they get the “12th man” in basketball its only 5 on a court

The 12th man is in reference to a game back in the day where all but 12 players were uninjured and a basketball player was pulled from the announcer box (he was helping them id players) to stand on the sideline in uniform incase someone went down. The Aggies ended up winning the game with no more injuries or so the story goes. Now the 12th man refers to the student body and alums. That's why it's on basketball jerseys.
