IMPORTANT: Please Read The Description Box Below!
Lambosozoku 「ランボ走族」literally translates to “Lambo Runner Tribe”. It’s a term that some in the west know, because of a famous internet video called Underground Hero that was released by Luke Huxham:
link: • Underground Hero : Lov...
They are the Lamborghini Bosozoku who run the inner city highways of Tokyo; mainly the C1 Loop and Wangan line.
This video is an inside look at the underground world of the Lambosozoku. It follows Ken M and I as we spend one night out in Tokyo exploring the scene and experiencing everything first hand. Huge thanks to Steve's POV for hooking us up and introducing us to Morohoshi-san. Also, the clips I accidentally credited as Bancroft cars below to him. Check out his amazing channel here:
/ @stevespov
This video is also basically an important pitch video for a series. Please read on.
For the past year I have been developing a relationship with several big studios where I had a very real chance to talk all about my story and the car culture niche and the what and why of my mission with my work.
For you guys who have been following me for awhile, you know I have been grinding for over 7 years. I have made the case that there exists a super massive, worldwide fan base; a passionate and diverse group of enthusiasts, just like you and I, who are hungry for real, authentic content and stories about the multiple aspects of Japanese car culture. And that there are very, very few people who have the ability to tell these stories.
So, There is a very good chance that execs from will be watching this video. And, they’ll be going through your guys comments. If my content has ever brought you any value and you resonate with my mission and want to see me take this to the next level, speak up - this is your time to be heard. Drop a comment below of:
1. Name, age, location
2. Why you feel content about real JDM culture is important
3. Why you trust me to tell these stories and continue to follow me
And if you enjoyed this video, please consider sharing it on Facebook and Reddit, or screen capping the video and making an Instagram story. I’ll do my best to promote it myself, but I need your help to get this video to a million views❤️
Once again thank you everyone so much for your support. I wouldn’t have made it this far without every 175,000 of you at the time I’m posting this!

And in contrast, I've seen a video of a Camero at a car meet in a large open parking lot in the US, have 2 cops come up to his windows on either side with one screaming at him "SHUT THE CAR OFF NOW, AND GIVE ME YOUR KEYS!"... All he was doing was on the spot revving like these Lambo's were but he wasn't even on the actual highway yet.

This is why I absolutely adore Japan's car culture, they just don't give a damn and respect each other's style. Calling stuff like this rice is ridiculous.
@moisesezequielgutierrez
@moisesezequielgutierrez 4 года назад
They don't know what is the actual meaning of "Ricers" and don't know how to detect/recognize one or differentiate them to other Types of Car guys. Ricers = People who buy lots of exterior mods like Wings, Bodykits etc. and put them into their Cars and use them AS Show Cars OR they think they're "cool" but in reality, they're just messing it too much. Tuners = People who buys mods (Any mods either for Engine, Internal or exterior mods) and slaps them to their Cars and increase/improve their Car's performance and use it to their fullest or squeeze every capabilities or potentials of it. Hope that these people who read my comment should know by now.

RICE means Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement So yes, underglows are RICE, but spoilers and bodykits really effects the handlings of those Lambos and their engines are Ready-to-Race so they don't need any modifications maybe intake filters or exhaust systems for better sound and yeah, Ricers generally use any low-version of a sports car and don't modify their engines they just add big wings and bodykits, stickers etc.

Morohoshi-san looked really scary the way he looked at the camera before. He looked like a stereotypical Yakuza leader or something xD. Then when you talked to him up close it made me smile, he was very genuine and warm.

He is Yakuza. No hinting. He made his money in grey zone prostitution. Most of the yakuza aren't explicitly illegal, they find loopholes and exploit them. Prostitution is a good example of that. When I visited a few years ago, it was the trash apartment scam. You can't just throw appliances away in Japan - you have to pay for them to be recycled. It's expensive. So Yakuza would rent an apartment for a month, put up a front recycling business... people think it's legit... offering to take appliances for half price. Fill the apartment, then default on rent, walk away, and leave the landowner with the mess. Strictly speaking, they didn't break any laws. But there is no morality or decency. "This is why we can't have nice things" moment. In prostitution, they at least have to have some people skills to keep their girls around and mentally stable. That's a hot topic, though, so I used the recycling one.

For you health's sake and for the not so shaky content's sake I have to agree with the other asking for stabilization. Love the commentary and explanation, very well put and so well detailed. I love the Japanese car scene, these "outcast" types in Japan seem to have such a great outlook on life and are so damn humble. It doesn't matter if I think a lambo should have these crazy lights on it or not, what I appreciate is the story it is meant to express. They all enjoy each others cars without passing any judgement, even if they don't like each others style! I live in the North East of the UK and I think young drivers are learning from this culture more here as they're having car meets full of "ricer" cars and slow bois but they're all doing it because they love driving and they don't disrespect each other because they've all come from the same place. Hoping to see this mindset spread more.

this what i like about the car community in japan, they're gathering not just because of flashy they are or how does their cars look like but rather they share the same passion, not chasing for clouts or anything and they're free to express themselves without being constraint of peer pressure or what people might think about them, it's just that's who they really are as an individuals. yeah some of them maybe doing outlaw things but not all of them are like that and even tho they do have that kind of background, what will really stands out the most at the end of the day is how they're able to do what they love genuinely without having fears at the back of their minds. and last but not least, they always emphasize the connection between you and the passion that you have and keeping the culture alive. this is without a doubt, the place, the country that i wanna live in someday, it really suits for me not just because of the academic success or anything related to that but rather how they really think, their moral values, and their code of ethics. Albo-san, i know that you've already released this video many years ago and im still watching this even now, but i just wanna say thank you for making these kinds of stuffs. i really do appreciate your works and efforts for this one. hopefully i'll meet you there someday and have some fun with y'all!!! have a great day!!!

There are so many aspects to Japan that I want to experience or explore in person. From the city life in Tokyo, to the more country like life further north in Japan. Car culture and car meets, the food of Japan, the different shops or restaurants, amusement parks and gaming centers. This is why I adore the idea of taking a month or two off work, school, or life in general in my hometown, and just go on an adventure in Japan, see all I can see, do all the things possible at the time, and just enjoy the culture, the people, as well as my time. Japan will forever be on my bucket list, and something I want to strive for... no matter how long it takes me.

While I may be a JDM fan, I can also appreciate some lambos no matter how they look like.

After realizing the drivers are actually pretty humble people the entire vibe changes a little.

You do know the wangan racers used porche and many other non japanese brands also if your referring to the real midnight club

Aharon ben Avram of course I know that lmao. They also used a good amount of Japanese cars and some even spent over two million dollars just on modifying their cars.
