Instagram - AdamTheWooATW Well worth the price of admission for anyone into classic Disney movie props and theme park attraction items . Loved this so much
@@mbgrafix There are people who make alot of money wearing a floresent vest fom HD or a guard store and direct people parking. There is a parking lot in dallas where this happens gtoger style and the guy collects money by helping the people pull in between 2 lines.. There car gets towed to boot by the real property owner.....
back in the day, when there was the fantastic draw by hand cartoon they used real life people and decors for inspiration and drawing. most scenes were done with actors then the draw them same with the props ,clothes etc.
@@CosplayCore Many of us grew up seeing these films on VHS on CRT's. It was not immediately obvious that they were real books. I just went back and watched a few RU-vid clips of VHS rips and it's still hard to tell. I'll have to finally get Disney+ and watch the remastered versions.
For sure. ❤❤❤❤ If you've seen The Muppet Movie episode, I've been to Museum Of The Moving Image a few times, and I would encourage anyone to see it. #favemuseumplug
I loved that episode I cried. I use to watch Mary Poppins every night growing up so if I’m ever in California I want to go here. I wish florida had one too with other artifacts.
Those books that were used at the beginning of some of the early animated movies were the most exciting part to me. I apsolutely lost it at the fact that they have the one from Snow White. It's probably one of the oldest movie props there.
I about cried when I saw it!! I’ve always loved books and reading as much as I do Disney and when I was really little, I knew the book was real but it still somehow seemed like it was too beautiful to be true and it became my favorite book in any Disney film...
RXDBOY LXNDON the books were used in the beginning of the animated movies. It would show the book opening and then that’s when the animation would start.
Right before COVID I was really excited to check out this exhibit and check out this local museum. Glad to see they're back open! Gonna try to make some plans to go with some of my friends who are also Disney fans!
Just went to the exhibit this morning and I loved it. It was very quiet, calm, and relaxing. Definitely helped my recent anxiety and of course, loved seeing fellow Disney fans. Thank you for the heads up Adam!
Born on a mountain top in Tennessee, prettiest place you ever did see, killed him a bar when he was only three, then he picked up the family and moved to Beverly, Davy...Davy Crockett, King of the wild frontier
Very cool that there is a museum like this for folks to see originals of the heydays that are no longer features or attractions at the theme parks. I know that it was exciting to see the exact gnome mobile car model used in the film which Walt or Roy donated to the Michigan Gilmore Car Museum :)
I was very pleasantly amazed that they allowed you to video in the museum. My favorite, the Mary Poppins Snow Globe! Oh the spellbinding magic! Thanks for sharing Adam~
Been watching your vids for years. Recently, my 2-1/2 year-old daughter has been watching with me a little. At the beginning of this video, she caught the way you deliver, “Shall you?” and that made her laugh as she proceeded to repeat it the way you say it. Thank you for always keeping your content family-friendly in an online world where there is less and less of a filter applied to anything.
That’s a lot of interesting Disney history there. I remember being in close proximity to several of the movie and theme props at WDW over the years. Cool to see them again. Thanks, Adam.👍🏼🤘🏼😎
My uncle had the contract to put the cement down in the magic kingdom and Epcot. I also got to meet one of the Disney family at Epcot as well. I thought that was pretty cool. Thanks for showing this museum man.
That....was cool. I really, really enjoyed seeing all the props & memorabilia. The gift shop too. 👍☺️ Also...ty for doing this. Having one of those days where I needed a good distraction and calming influence. Thanks!
I wish I lived closer to these “Disney hubs”... For Disney ANYTHING, I’m out in No-Man’s Land... Our biggest artistic attraction is a medium fanart painting someone did locally for like 50$... 😞 Pretty much, anyway. I would love to be in California or Florida or even in Missouri. And I am so jelly you got to see real artwork from my all-time favorite film!!! I would give almost ANYTHING to get to be that close and personal with Edward’s original schematics... It’s not easy to see them during the film and I’ve always wanted to actually get to pore over them...
Love Bowers Museum. Didn’t know if existed. Grew up in the days of classic Disney. So excited to see all the things they have in there from all those great Disney movies. Thank you for this vlog. Made my day. It’s a totally amazing museum. God bless you
That was awesome‼️ Loved seeing all the older Disney props especially the books and the bednob that’s one of my favourite movies‼️Thank you!!‼️🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I nerded OUT when I saw movie props. I also didnt know that the fairytale books were REAL?!?! I dont know what I thought they were... But that museum looks SO COOL! Thanks for taking us with you!
Just wanted to say I am wishing you the absolute best in your new quest for health & different eating habits💛 Many blessings sent your way & massive hug through the ether
Wow great video of the Disney archives museum. You moved slowly through the exhibit so we could see all the items. Thank you for visiting the museum and sharing it all with us it was amazing. Keep them coming, such a bright spot to our day with so much sadness going on in this world. Thank you Adam. ❤❤❤❤
It's a beautiful museum and well worth the cost of admission, I went when they had the JFK exhibit which was so impressive to see photography that you don't often see.
Oh man Adam, this is a great exhibit! Ive enjoyed it so much. I could probably stay in there forever checking out everything! Thanks for this interesting vlog!
If you've ever been to animation academy in california adventure that desk was used at the studios. If you ask the artists nicely they will let you go right up to it sometimes. We use to put candy in the big drawer on the left.
Insightful, historic and very well executed in brining the viewers of your channel to the Wold of Disney. Excellent work there Adam. Thank you for making these vlogs and keeping us entertained during this stay-at-home order. Glad I subscribed.
Disney and history... Does it get any better?! Dude, my eyes bugged out when I saw the cookskin cap! One of my earliest memories of MK is when my dad bought me one, so it was pretty awesome seeing the real thing!
Thanks so much Adam for sharing your experience of the Disney Archives. Is it reasons like this why I love RU-vid where you can virtually visit an attraction I wouldn't usually from the comfort of your own home without the unnecessarily travel and costs.
Thank you so much for showing us all this exibit. Many of us can't be there to see it in person, and so you do this wonderful job! Greetings from Brazil!
Thanks Adam for a trip through the history of Disneyland I mean that museum was amazing and it it was great having you as my tour guide also I liked the way you narrated as we went through the exhibit and talked about each display in detail and what was great about that is I learned so much and you really have a way of bring things to light when you talk about them that’s why I’m glued your vlogs so please keep up the good work because you do one heck of a job and we can all learn with a little Adam the woo thanks again and with that I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure also please stay safe out there
