The Bailey Yard is the largest rail yard in the world spanning 8 miles in length and 2 miles in width. The yard serves as a midway point for trains on union pacific's transcontinental route. This video was filmed during the town's rail fest when bus tours let visitors see the inside of the yard. Soke highlights include the north and south humps, area 51 locomotive staging, the engine shows, car maintenance, and the overpass for locomotives trying to reach the east or west ends of the yard.
