Sit down with as many men as possible THAT YOU TRUST & RESPECT, (preferably your father/uncles/brothers/cousins, etc) then ask them to share their wisdom on love and dating with you. If you learn even ONE useful thing from those discussions you will be that much better prepared to navigate the dating world. People that are successful in most any aspect of life, either personally or vocationally, have reached out to others for advice. When my daughter was young she had several friends that called me 'Dad' or 'Uncle Nick' because when they hung out with my daughter I treated them as if they were my own children, including dispensing advice to them. They may not have always wanted to HEAR what I had to say but they seemed to have appreciated it. Its kind of like someone telling you that you have something in your nose; you may not LIKE hearing that but you're glad SOMEONE told you to prevent you from further embarrassment. My daughter even suggested that I give seminars to women giving women suggestions about dating. I might just do it.

Kushina is so funny. Most of us beautiful women have such a hard time settling down with men that aren't quite right and seem to always bump into the ugly and the bad! I hope she finds her happiness. First and foremost, we must learn how to love ourselves first.

yes it is. Im still suffering with the scars of being cheated on by toxic guys and i was always a one-guy type of female - i dont believe in love, or twin flames, or significant others or none of that crap. to me its just some made up garbage. i believe in singlehood, independence, freedom and good health. I never had a guy that didnt screw other females. Im staying single & abstaining until i die. stay safe in covid. 11-17-20

Smh. Solution: Stop choosing toxic men. Same applies to good men constantly choosing toxic women. I say to those men.....stop choosing toxic women. Too many people love the thrill of the toxicity until it becomes full on poison then they repeat. Don't just put it on the men out there when (as a woman) you know full well on the level of hell so many women bring to good men then turn around and blame the men due to the lack of accountability.

@@anndavis2920 All that says Ann, is that you're attracted to toxic men and toxic men are attracted to you which (in reality), makes you the common 'toxic' denominator as well. Of course you don't think you are, of course. I'm sure there have been men with morals, responsibilities, resources and a leveled head that came your way and you've probably rejected them due to them being boring, not having the swag you like, the certain look or whatever. We're entitled to our standards on who we like but when the choices we make is always ending in negativity, then we either got the worse luck in the world or we just like the negativity until it get to be too much. There's billions of men in the world which means that you've only been around and with the smallest of portion so saying men are one way across the board because of your choice is unintelligent and adolescent in assumption.

i agree w/u from experience. Guys taught me that i cant trust them and my single mom taught me to fend for myself bc she had to. it was just me and her most of my life and she was always there, making sure i was comfortable and safe. Baby's sperm donor did not do that. im sorry i ever met him but its been over for years and i still feel the pain every day like it happened yesterday. I have dated outside my race also and its even worse when guys are racist - it hurts like all get out and i also keep those scars w/me too. Im staying single, alone & abstaining until i die. its just healthy for me even tho im going through depression bc of it all.
