Thanks for watching!🔥I've also toured USC, ASU, SDSU, and a bunch more. I made a full playlist of all the tours in order right here: ru-vid.com/group/PLdv3SmPYso-LLFStaT7qAKPJQteun1wTw

Excellent facilities - this coming from a former SEC guy. Well laid out and would imagine UConn would see an improvement in recruiting with all of the amenities. Outstanding!
Love the video and really appreciate you pumping up the Huskies!! We know it’s not the SEC, but it’s freaking incredible facilities and damn it we won’t be intimidated to step on the diamond with any school in the country! Hope many more supers (and even some Omaha trips!) come after the 2022 one.
Awesome video! I played for UCONN in 07 & 08 seasons. Facilities have changed quite a bit since my days from being on campus lol but It's been great to see all the success the program has had & will continue to have! Watch out for the HUSKIES!!! ACE & WIN - Huskie Nation will know what that means. Anyways, great videos man, keep em' coming. Love seeing all the great facilities out there.
@@zacpalochick267 It's really not in the middle of nowhere though considering Boston is 90 minutes, Hartford is 30 minutes, NYC around 2 hours and Providence another 45 minutes. Schools in the middle of Iowa I would consider middle of nowhere. Even a school like UVA is a good 1.5 to 2 hours to DC. But I get how people think that when Storrs is basically surrounded by farms and woods.
@@ehaddad6 well yeah for Connecticut being around farms is pretty much “ in the middle of nowhere” I have season tickets to their men’s basketball team, it’s about 80 miles from my house.
I was on the UCONN T&F team from ‘97 to ‘00. Funny to hear of our, at the time, brand new state of the art fitness facility now called “the dungeon”. With all of the new facilities they built there recently, I totally get it. UCONN keeps investing huge money into their sports teams. Awesome to see.
@@pierremenard4049 Not the building itself. the fitness facility they walk down stairs to but was locked is what he referred to as the dungeon. It opened in 1998. Before that we lifted in a room in Gampel.
All of the athletic facilities are top notch from Field Hockey to Soccer. The basketball training facility is one of the nicest in the country, the football training facility rivals Big 10/SEC schools, and the soccer stadium always has a great atmosphere and usually leads the country in attendance. And of course Gampel doesn't need explaining.
Matt Barnes Bullpen...Thanks Matt...I think you might see more New Englanders come to UConn for baseball. New England is underrated for baseball...UConn hockey arena is nice and cozy, too...
Kinda seems like it sucks that they don't have dirt and natural grass, but, on the other hand, this field looks crisp and better than the other D1 team fields featured in this YT series (others were natural grass), and the fact that he says pitching on this turf feels just like pitching on dirt kind of makes this low maintenance option a lot more appealing. So what at first seems like a compromise is actually dope. P.S. You forgot to include this video in your D1 Facility Tours Playlist.
Better to have turf in the northeast. Most dirt and grass fields are just unplayable in the early season. These guys can jump on this field in february/march if they snow holds off, grass it's just not possible.
ik u do alot of crazy d1 school love the videos but ill like u to do video on like a juco southwest TN Walter state or any of juco just to see how these d1 compare to juco d2-3 naia but love the video!
