These people are party members and government employees: average people are desperate, starving, trying to leave the country at all costs. Just talk to the legion of Uber drivers here in Miami.

What's your solution to a brutal dictator that incarcerates & beats it's people that protest their corrupt government , human rights violations , doesn't have fair elections & drug trafficking connections ? Do you understand the reasons for economic sanctions or do you want me to explain it to you ? It should be even more self explanatory with what's happening with Russia and Ukrain. Btw , I live in Florida where MILLIONS of Venezuelans fled to to escape their dictatorship , there are also Venezuelans scattered all over the world because they fled their brutal dictatorship . Reminds me of when we used ro travel To Venezuela for our school stuff. New clothes, shoes and everything. I always said, i want to return one day. Shopping around Sabana grande where the girls in the shoe stores were very kind to us. We were like 10yr old and they couldn’t understand we learnt to speak spanish just by watching. RCTV and Venevision😂😂😂. Great memories

I just found Volpe recently but been a fan of yours since the first time you left colombia and wasn't sure if you would make it back. También te expreso lo siguiente. El venezolano por naturaleza nunca pierde su sonrisa,hospitalidad y fraternidad aún estando en las peores condiciones. Y eso la gente no lo entiende. Que estemos tan mal y siempre estemos alegres. Ni yo misma lo entiendo.

Dude what you are doing is awesome. Your interactions with the true natives of the places you travel to us great and the things you do for them is a blessing for them and you also!! I go to many places and I stay away from the tourist areas and travel to the country sides and some of the "hoods" and I've never had a problem. These folk show nothing but love when you respect their country and show a genuine interest in their culture. Keep doing what you're doing brother God's watching you!
