In order to change the fingerprint sensor is it necessary to follow all the steps? Since the button connector is just under the battery may it be possible to just remove the battery without taking apart all the electronics?
Cause my brother has a 10 pro max whose motherboard has been damaged and my fingerprint stopped working out of nowhere , so he offered me to scavenge his sensor 'cause he would be throwing away the device anyways.
@@DIYGeardo this phone doesn't come with a proximity sensor and that keeps the screen on while placing it on the ears .. it's very annoying as accidental touch happens during call

Great vid! I have one question, and that is does your unit produce a rattle-like sound when slightly tapping the camera and near the rear camera module. After watching this video I'm questioning if something is loose in my unit (perhaps the upper left screw which is making that rattle noise.

My display was damaged by myself. I was try to change the display but display not wark, i try 4 times but no one can fix it.somebody said the display is not match. Somebody said the display lighting connector problem that way the display maybe wark with black screen and the light not wark. So now how can i know what is the main problem. And one thing, the phone is wark, because when i trun on the power button, the phone is vibrat. Tall me the solution please

Hi, Appreciate your efforts. I got MI 11 lite ne 5g model and it fell into the water and I kept in rice for 48 hours, But still display gone, and everything working even the touch. I try to change the display in some local shops they check with the new display without removing the old one by just attaching it to the display port on the bottom side. The display working but continuesly showing some lines and now they are saying we might change the display strip too. Can you please let me know from where we can order the display strip as the local shops are not having it in my hometown.

I have the 5g 11 lite of this. It fell on the water, now its the screen is not opening but i can still hear its open and theres vibration. Is it advisable to open so I can try to use hair dryer on the inside ?
It's already better to buy a new phone than to invest and maybe it won't work. It doesn't pay to repair it in the store and also to change it yourself, it's better to buy a new one. Who has the patience to disassemble like that and then put it back together, remember.
You can try a reset, if that is not helping probably you need to check the screen. if it still happening, then need to seek a technician. But this is a new phone, you should have the warranty right ?

@@DIYGeardo You know how the microphones are mounted, but you haven't mention them in the video. Does the sim key can affect upper or lower microfones? The holes are in line with the microphones or not ?
