As a Florida State fan from Maryland I would love for them to go to the Big 10

I want the Big10. As a Nole fan living in St l. Louis. Alot of games would be within driving distance for me.

Big Ten. Great competition, national conference, more exposure with 3 networks, better academics and more opportunities for research and development.

I think the reason the narrative of SEC not wanting the Noles is out there is so they don't lose face knowing there's very little likelihood FSU goes to the SEC. If given the option I think the admin would choose B1G every time

BIG would be better in the long run. I'm guessing they would also add other marquee level teams later on. I personally think Feinbaum is an axx. He's rarely been right about anything. His job is to stir up the shxt pot.

Florida State Baseball does not have anyone injured. There is no reason that ESPN gave Alabama the prime spot for the baseball game except because ESPN owns SEC and ESPN will prop up Alabama over Florida State every chance it can. We know it happened in the CFP. Texas owed the tie breaker over Alabama, so Florida State was bumped off in favor of both Texas and Alabama. I bring this up because Florida State baseball earned 8th spot and ESPN put Alabama in the prime TV slot IN Tallahassee I might add. We get the noon game on ACC network even though we are the prime team. Big Ten has to be better than the treatment we have been given by ESPN. ESPN/SEC has to go!!!!!!! Big Ten, here we come!!!!!!! Big Ten for FSU - we have a proud Native American community/history in Big Ten Country with lots of things named with Native American names - lots, plus, the football brand, the amount of fan support, the location in northern Florida and being a State Capital, and the viewers, and recruiting grounds. Miami for south Florida views and recruiting and also lots of Big Ten Country snowbirds/transplants. Quite possibly Clemson because of football brand and views/recruiting in that general area. Then, Notre Dame for obvious reasons. That leaves 2 spots out West left if we go to 24 total teams, I like Utah, maybe Stanford, maybe a Kansas.

As a Michigan fan I'd love to see FSU and Clemson in the B1G. It'll create so many big time matchups. At least 4 big games a year for Fsu on top on Uf and Miami. Welcome home FSU and Clemson were glad to have you.

As an LSU fan, I wouldn't mind having FSU and Clemson in the SEC. FSU vs. Bama, Clemson vs. LSU, FSU vs. Oklahoma, Clemson vs. Texas, FSU vs. Auburn, Clemson vs. Tennessee would be some interesting games to watch

The SEC is saying they don’t need FSU or Clemson, in hopes that they can get them for a major discount. Plus, they already know FSU is probably going to the Big Ten. The SEC is loaded with football talent, so they’ll be looking for big time basketball programs instead, like North Carolina, Virginia, and Duke.

The SEC has one of Florida’s Two Flagship University’s. I have lots of Gator friends and UF is a great institution of higher education. But, they don’t have the viewership nor National appeal Florida State University has built over the decades. Mainly due to Coach Bobby Bowden being willing to play anybody, anytime, anywhere: FSU went to Nebraska 4 times, went to Michigan, went to Notre Dame & they played FSU in Orlando. During those years Coach Bowden gained two names “King of the Road” & “The Riverboat Gambler”. Coach Bowden went into every game with a trick play. Florida State University began scheduling home & home games with Auburn, USC, Michigan State, etc.. Anyone that is unaware of the horse trading process in the Power-2 needs to wake up. Anyway, The boycott of home & home games is over. With Alabama in 2025 in Doak & with Georgia in Doak in 2027.

I'd prefer the B1G just for balance and recruiting purpose. It balances the 2 powers SEC and B1G. Either way anything but the ACC is a win.

(-) … For my beloved Noles, I totally prefer the BIG 10, primarily because I don’t want to be in any conference affiliated with ESPN. I despise the Every Single Person is Numb network! (+) … I do like the idea of playing Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Penn State, Washington, each year over playing Alabama, Georgia, and whoever. Even though I cherish every loss that Notre Dame suffers, I would also love to see them joining the BIG 10 as well, they would bring that storied past with them and many of the BIG 10 teams are already natural rivals for ND. That’s it.

I am from Arkansas, back in NW Arkansas 30 minutes from the Arkansas campus, but am a 1974 FSU graduate. SEC for me.

FSU and Clemson (aside from Notre Dame) are the 2 most valuable college sports/football media properties that WILL be moving conferences in the next 50 years. Does anyone think that the SEC is really NOT interested in them and will pass on them ? Would ESPN really take them to the carpet and risk losing them as a result ? Or are both likeky to get together and try to present the best overall package to those two in order to encourage them to move to the SEC instead of the Big10 ? The SEC and ESPN presently have the most leverage because ESPN can strong arm the ACC into letting them go and offering the ACC future security and the two teams the cheapest most risk free and expedient exit from the ACC, provided they move to the SEC instead of Big10. Big10 cannot help coordinate a cheaper move. SEC just wants to get paid closer to what the Big10 gets paid in exchange for adding FSU and Clemson - not just prorata, but more parity in pay. FSU & Clemson do not need to be playing half their games in freezing arse yankee stadiums where their opponents are acclimated to playing in the freezing cold and they are not. Its a formula for a losing record going north to play under conditions where a lesser team will beat a superior FSU or clemson due solely to the playing conditions. The two schools just need to declare withdrawal formally and then ESPN and the SEC can fully engage without tampering and without conflict of interests. ESPN is holding the door wide open by not exercising its option to extend the ACC contract - read the tea leaves threre. Just do it, they will engage.

First off, love your show and all the content you provide us. As a Clemson fan it’s a no brainer, Big 10. They have a higher paying TV contract at this point. They’re a national conference, whereas the SEC is regional. More exposure should hopefully increase the payouts, which is what this is all about. Maybe the most overlooked aspect of the whole Big 10-SEC debate are the current TV contracts of both conferences. From a national perspective, the SEC has ESPN, which is hemorrhaging money right now. I now cable/satellite and free TV aren’t the future, but they still maintain a pretty big seat at the table right now. Supposedly, ESPN is going to be streaming only within the next 2-3 years. The Big 10 on the other hand has 3 TV contracts, Fox, CBS, and NBC. They all offer free TV, cable/satellite, and streaming. I think the Big 10 is the way to go for Florida State and Clemson if that opportunity presents itself to them.

SEC are looking to grow their basketball viewership with Kansas or Duke and UNC. Big 12 is also eyeing the ACC basketball schools.

UF and FSU are both state of Florida schools. Even if FSU is going to the BIG you want to help a fellow Florida school. If Strickland just said FSU can eat bricks. it would put FSU in a bad spot dealing with the BIG. This process has influences higher than the Universities.

Sec for three reasons 1 Even though though they are all big brands I think the list of teams I want to play is much better. Sec Georgia Alabama auburn LSU Soutch Carolina, Florida (which we will play regardless of conference affiliation) are all closer to us than anyone in the ACC minus Georgia tech (who we play once every 6 years now) then Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Am, and who wouldn’t love a Mike Norvell vs Lame Kiffin matchup? Big Ten Ohio state, Michigan, Penn state, USC, Oregon, maybe Michigan state, Wisconsin, and Washington are the only schools I get up with a little extra pep in my step on the mornings we play them. Probably won’t travel to see any of those places although it would be cool. We don’t have to go undefeated to make the playoffs anymore so dropping a couple in a murderers row schedule doesn’t keep us from a natty. 2) If we go with Clemson to Sec we will still keep the only three games I care about on our schedule. We would likely play Clemson and Florida every year and Miami regardless of what conference they play in. However, if we go to the Big ten no one really talks about Miami or Clemson going to Big 10 I have heard way more chatter about Clemson to Sec and Miami to big 12 than anything else. In that scenario we play Florida but we lose Miami and Clemson out side of random home and homes that are scheduled. Obviously there are a lot of moving pieces that affect this because all three schools have to find homes but it is much more likely we lose one or two of those games if we do not go to the Sec. 3 I would just love having to watch finebaum and his little shiny big eared big glasses bald head along with herbstriet and many others who have long said FSU is beneath them have to swallow their pride and say this is a great move for the SEC and I am so glad they are in this conference. Of course they will say they are about to get swallowed up but then when we do beat them they will have nothing left to say 🤣😂

The Carolina board of regents needs atleast 3 out of 4 to have a life boat! Wake forest, NC ST, DUKE, AND UNC are very tight knit. You can't take just 1 or 2

Deep down in spite of what is reported - FSU doesn’t like being rejected by SeC - and wouldn’t admit in a million years that they want SeC and not the Big10!

FSU should choose the B1G. More money, more research money, help with AAU status, and more national exposure. Overall for the university, the B1G makes the most sense. Plus, why would FSU want to go from a UNC/ESPN influenced ACC to a Alabama/ESPN influenced SEC? Yes, the B1G has Ohio State & Michigan, but they split the power and the power is further diluted by blue bloods Penn St & USC.

SEC. We are a better fit. The games would be better and it makes more since. BIG10 makes more money so to speak but the SEC has the better teams and national brand. In the long run SEC would be better.

GO BLUE - Come on home FSU & CLEMSON. The B1G will prove to be the strongest football league soon. Playing a NATIONAL SCHEDULE, playing the biggest brands from COAST TO COAST. FSU wants to be a major research University, well RESEARCH brings in 3 times the money than sports media rights. The B1G Research brings in more research money than the SEC, ACC & IVY combined. This opportunity will also benefit CLEMSON as well. Now lets include MIAMI for 21 and bring in ND for 22.

As a Clemson fan, I am hoping, and believe, that Clemson will end up in the SEC. I believe the SEC is a better cultural fit and better geographically. Plus, we have natural rivals in the SEC, especially South Carolina and Georgia.

Screw baseball, football is where it is at. It comes down to money. As a young man FSU came to Columbus two years, we lost but i liked both games. Woud love the north south matchups. Big money there! Liked to see at least 2of 3 (Miami, FSU, Clemson) in Big Ten if not all three. ND Stanford as well.

If you care about the students then it has to be the SEC. Easier travel for all student athletes, which they deserve, and easier travel for students. No student can travel to any Big 10 school to see FSU on the road, but LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and maybe even Tennessee/Vandy would all be relatively easy places to travel to support the Seminoles

Prefer a Florida centric conference with Miami, UCF, USF. You can make a really good conference of 12 with select members from the ACC plus WVU. If the winds of conference realignment changes before FSU leaves the ACC and nobody wants to expand, this would be my preference with Orlando being where the conference HQ is located. Perhaps if FSU gets in too much debt the state of Florida would be willing to relieve FSUs athletic department in exchange for signing off on such an idea which would help the state.

TJ the B1G makes total sense! It would open up a area of recruiting because we'll be playing games on the regular there. Also we'll be playing some the B1G power houses like Ohio St, Michigan, and Penn St that are always top programs in the country and we'll be beating the brakes off of them which will elevate our rankings. You make the connection with Fox & Big Ten but I think you are forgetting that Disney and SEC have the same relationship. With the Big Ten it seems pretty clear that Fox has assured them the money to add FSU will be available. There is zero indication that Disney has told the SEC they are ready to pay more for FSU to add them to the SEC. It's all about the money.

SEC “It just makes more sense” Rivalries

Let's be honest here Clemson and Florida St would be ignorant to fight this hard to get out of the ACC and have not had some sort of unofficial conversations about their options if they were to leave the ACC. And to be honest both schools regionally and traditionally fit better in the SEC. Also I do not see ESPN lay over and just let them leave to a conference affiliated to FOX and ESPN lose that valve of these 2 programs. But in the end I think the SEC and the Big 10 will come to some agreement to split the valve of the ACC and maybe Notre Dame to fit 2 super conferences. We already know that the 2 conferences are in bed together with the way they pushed their weight around about expanding the CFP. Summarizing this all is college football is going to be controlled by $$$$. And the SEC and Big 10 will now rule college football as dictators and call all the shots. Clemson and Florida St will end up where ever these to conferences decide is best not for the 2 schools but what is best for the 2 conferences....Like it or not it is the way it is. SEC because of the potential rivalries that we'd have with regional schools that we've had non-conference rivalries with forever. Not to mention travel for the athletes as well as travel for the fans.
