Company’s rules : you are not allowed to leave the military base in ( Erbil -Kurdistan ) a linguist was. It aware of this rule and got Terminated immediately for leaving the base . Please advise. Im glad things have become quicker by making the process available online. However, that’s a double edges sword. Online streamlining has opened up sensitive information to outsiders through hacking. Whereas before insider threats were the main concern of exposing information, now we have created a situation in which information is potentially exposed to an entire world of bad actors. But I’m sure a risk Vs reward analysis conducted by the ‘Big Brains’ concluded the benefit of quicker intelligence gathering/sharing trumps whatever new threats it’s created while trying to maintain a technological edge, & I would have to agree.
I'm already in a fantastic job. I'm applying for a job where I will need clearance eventually, just for an extra $10k If I leave this job, don't get the clearance, and lose my job because I don't pass clearance, its going to ruin my life.
