The saga continues as we look at the third chapter of the Trophy Trout Quest...
In this chapter, myself and Jan Eckmann move to a different location under blue skies to chase more of the huge mouse eating brown trout so prevalent at the time. There was to be an astonishing moment as i land probably the largest Brown Trout of my life. The fact that it was on a mouse pattern before dark, makes it even more special. As my digital scales failed, and the giant fish bottomed out the 14lb max weigh net, I'll never truly know it's size... We very conservatively estimated him at 16-17lb but was likely a pound or two bigger.
