What would it have hurt them to make the handle on the freezer curved instead of pointed? I now have all these 1" gashes on the top of my head when I use the crisper.
I don't like the shelf adjustments. Was definitely not designed for 4 litre milk jugs and still have room for tall jars/bottles on other lower or upper shelves. On my second Insignia in 3 days. Before the new fridge delivery (not even plugged in yet) I was given an identical fridge as my previous GE died. Had to set it on 4 and 5 (max temp) and still had fluctuating temps. Temp varied too from front and back of fridge by about 5°C. If the door was opened a couple times or so, like while preparing meals, it didn't want to cool back down within a reasonable amount of time at all and stayed warm too long to be food safe for my liking. Would be a good beer fridge or one that isn't opened often at all. So management brought me the new one. Will see how this one fares. So far I wouldn't recommend this brand. Spend a little more money and get a better brand.
Been using the new fridge for over a month. Would not recommend. Have to keep changing temp settings b/c the fridge is either too cold or too warm. Recently I've had to set it to 5. The temp doesn't have a setting higher than 5 and temp is sitting at 42°C at the back of the fridge. Who knows how warm it is at the front. Freezer seems to keep cold is the only positive. Spend a bit more money and get a fridge you can rely on, not babysit.
@richestate4902 I was also thinking for a rental. BUT sounds like it has issues, and tenants can be demanding ("it's too warm..."). The cheapest man always spends to most. May be better to spend a.bit.more.and get a more reliable product.
