InSomnia Reacts | (G)I-dle 'I Burn' Album Reaction  

Dahlia... composed my Minnie, Lyrics by Minnie and Soyeon. Many neverlands consider "Dahlia" to be their favorite (G)I-dle song. "Lost" was composed by Yuqi, Lyrics by Yuqi and Soyeon.

Minnie did write dahlia. During the world tour aug 2023 they all had solo stages and Minnie sang this song while playing the keyboard . Miyeon sang her solo drive, Yuqi sang a song that idk but she played the guitar. Soyeon sang her song psycho. Shuhua did a dance.

Soyeon starts songs quite often. It's either her or Minnie. If you just look at title songs only, it is literally only them i think.

I apologize for my English. Dahlia is a song that Minnie wrote for the album, but when the girls had a tour, each of them performed solo. Miyeon (drive) and Soyeon (psycho) performed their solo songs, Yuqi performed her new solo song (could it be), Shuhua danced, and Minnie performed Dahlia solo.

Their earlier songs were started by Soyeon the most….but Soyeon said in a BTS video for queencard that Minnie is the queen of the intro…like a cheat code… so….just fyi

"Hann (Alone in Winter)" is an amazing B-Track. And "Hwaa" is my fave MV for I-DLE, as it's so emotive, and beautiful and sometimes makes me just *feel*.

and no ur not alone in saying minnie has a really jazzy voice ! you should watch her lee mujin episode if you haven't already it becomes more apparent there + gidle actually did a cover of "all that jazz" before which u can also watch also soyeon only coming in at the very end of moon was done on purpose! the entire song is about wanting to hide from the spotlight, so soyeon was hiding until the end where she says that the moonlight is too bright to do so. + the reason dahlia came up as a solo is because minnie performed it as a solo at their "i am free_ty" tour in 2023 and she added some things that weren't in the original ! but it is a group song that she wrote and composed

From here on out, if you hear guitars in particular it's probably Yuqi's song lol Edit: I like how insightful your reactions are 🙌 and I don't mind the pausing!!!

soyeon starts most of their old songs, since tomboy minnie has started many of the songs (I think the entire I never die album, queencard and many more)

soyeon starts 6.5/11 title tracks (lion and i'm the trend included + the .5 because soyeon tehcnically starts tomboy but it's not really a verse she sings and minnie is in the center anyway for the actual first verse) the others are started by minnie i don't wanna count b-sides that would take me forever but i think it's similar for them where minnie and soyeon switch off starting mostly

Soyeon said she wrote her songs inspired by Shuhua's "pure beauty." If you couldn't tell, Shuhua isn't just pale she's actually white. She belongs to a Chinese ethnic group(though she's of Taiwanese nationality) that has a really low melanin level, so she even tans like Caucasian people do. You only really notice when you see them live, but she is just bright white.

Minnie's songs are usually very chill. Dahlia is a great example. And yes, obviously, we are all younger than you 🙄
