One of the best - if not THE best - generation for Avalons, the Gen2. We lucked into one that had sat for 2+ years while an estate was disentangled, an 03. Had to replace battery, struts, brakes and front roll bar links. When a car sits undriven, these things deteriorate. Then got a daily 01 w/60k miles and was sad to sell it a few years later when my wife stopped driving and we no longer needed two cars. The 03 had 82k when we bought it, now has 101k & runs and drives like new.
