As students enter school from holiday,there is thorough inspection at the gate...several things like cooked food,drinks,sprays among many others are not allowed in school..our school is a DRUG FREE ZONE.
Mr. Elijah, that Security officer in charge was a friend of the CU. I think he was was a pastor. About 12 years ago he gave a very fluent sermon from the book of Judges, on the story of Samson! I know Kagz has some old boys who are serving in different capacities e.g. Cabinet Secretaries, Bankers, Entrepreneurs,Members of Parliament,farmers, Doctors, educators etc.I think it would help to motivate the students and also brand the school.Thank you.
Nice to see your way of welcoming our mwanafunzi... Yes, we have to do a thorough search to prevent forbidden things to come in our school... Yes we need to ask them to remove their socks and even checked if they are wearing shorts with pockets and they might put some sim card or bang there... On our experience we have a separate room for this search.. great job.
During our time we were allowed to bring in juices and cooked food... I still struggle to wrap my head around how and why that changed but what the hey, rules are rules :-)
