So when I was a kid, my siblings and I rented both Inspector Gadget and Super Ghouls'n Ghosts one weekend, never having played either before. So we managed to once rent TWO games that both featured the character getting their clothes knocked off and running around in their underwear. Strange time.

If you miss Jon Grumps, I highly recommend watching the channel SuperMega. It consists of Matt and Ryan, the Grumps' current editors who were also in recent episodes of Steam Train. It's not exactly the same but it's crazy how much their content reminds me of classic Grumps. They take turns playing, yell at each other, and argue similar to how Jon and Arin used to. And they're damn good with their edits too, reminiscent of the old glory days of Barry.

At 6:21 when the lightning strikes the bridge, it totally reminded me of what Arin loved about Megaman X: the first time the bridge goes out, you land safely on a ledge and can get back up quickly, so you learn to jump over the oddly colored logs. Brilliant.

There are actually two Inspector Gadgets. The first was long thought to be dead, so a second was built, one with the same dog, niece, and life. When the first returns from being presumably dead and sees he has been replaced, he snaps. He vows to destroy the man who took his place and assumes a new identity... Dr. Claw.

True story: More then 90% of the people who worked on the Gadget cartoon were Japanese. INSPECTOR GADGET IS TECHNICALLY AN ANIME.

Yeah. The original Inspector Gadget was animated in Japan. (Most of the time, Some episodes were animated in Taiwan.) These people who work on animation including the creator of Saint Saiya. (As an animation director, If I'm not wrong.) When I know about this, I was like "That's it! That's why I have an anime feeling from watching this cartoon." However. For some reason, The soundtracks also have an anime feeling to me.

+P.Scoop A lot of classic cartoons were also at least PARTIALLY animated in Japan, like Tiny Toons, Batman TAS and Animaniacs, which were done by TMS, who also did AKIRA, Detective Conan and Sonic X. As far as I know, they also did Gadget. Funnily enough, in the case of Batman TAS, the studio that did Cowboy Bebop did a few episides!

Just a tip - The number in front of the items is an ITEM level, dealing more damage, more of it, or simply lasts longer. Anything flashing gives you special extra abilities, like the copter when flashing makes you invincible, the darts stick for a long time, the extendo-arm extends to a ludicrousness length, damage arrows do a LOT more damage and go much further, bombs have a SUPER MASSIVE blast radius, etc etc. Just keep leveling things up and be cautious of what does what, with each level.

I worked for Hewlett-Packard. Until they split into Hewlett-Packard Inc and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Then HPE merged with CSC to become DXC. I have wasted 5 years of my life. Thank you Game Grumps. For reminding me. :'(

Tip #2 : If you hold down, you'll activate the magnifying glass, which can be used to locate hidden blocks which hold extra lives, suits (Armor), hats and item upgrades. And I think every now and again, a special zone.

Wait... the plot of this game is Penny getting kidnapped?! Boo, game developers. Penny was way too smart to let that shit happen. They need to make an Inspector Gadget game where you play as her, sneaking around behind the scenes and solving puzzles to take out MAD yourself. Like the Batman Arkham games, but, y'know, for kids.

Eirn! This game Did explain the trunkmen to you! You see, it first sets up small holes where you see the trunkmen and get to observe their full cycle, then you get to deeper holes were even though we dont see them anymore we have been fully introduced to their function without Penny needing to chime in :D I WATCHED THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!

How is this game not about Penny? Obviously any Inspector Gadget game should be you playing as Penny and Brain keeping Inspector Gadget out of trouble. It kind of contradicts the whole idea to have Gadget actually be the hero.

One of the animators on this show is called egoraptor. Eco is short for ecosystem, and frequently used in the phrase "eco-friendly" for less environmentally stressing appliances and substances. goblined misspelled "egoraptor" "ecoraptor" and so a small pun was made.

Hewlett Packard. Our old desktop computer was one of those. It was actually very good until it got to the point where it was considered old and outdated. Now we use a Dell and everything's fine. XD
