This one was a request, apologies it took so long but been rather busy. Anyway just a basic extended version to the 80's kids cartoon tv show Inspector Gadget. Just something a little more than the 1.20 version. Enjoy peeps :)
Well the truth is more like Writer: Let's make a Lupin III spinoff set in the future Editor: The liscensing fell through Writer: Fuck. Time to scratch off all the serial numbers.
He was based on one of the voice actor's previous roles, Maxwell Smart, from the show Get Smart. If you have not seen the show, then you really ought to watch them. It's a classic.
Diktator Alexander Robocop didn't have weapons come out of any other places besides his side and that was his machine pistol but yeah I guess that would make sense.
I always had several questions on my mind when it came to this show: 1. Where are Penny's parents? 2. How can Gadget be an Uncle? Does he have a sister or brother who is a cyborg? 3. Why does a 12 year olds computer book outclass all the technology of the police? 4. How does Gadget still have a job? 5. How come Gadget doesn't even follow his own advice from those crummy PSA skits they did at the end of each episode? 6. Why has Brain not been studied by human science seeing as he is a somewhat audible dog that can stand on two legs? 7. Why hasn't Dr. Claww just found out where Gadget lives and nuke his house? ..... This show leaves more questions then answers.
I can answer about the question about Penny's parents you see her mom or dad were probably the brother or sister to our hero and they probably were killed some years ago prior to the show since he was the only living relative who can take care of her 🐕🐕🐕🐕
Captain Crunchy, I always assumed he was a detective that got injured on the job and was saved by becoming a cyborg. Or that theory that the real gadget is doctor claw after he was left for dead and the cyborg was made to replace him after he was presumed dead.
Interesting fact: in the original animated series, Inspector Gadget was voiced by Don Adams, who also played the title character Maxwell Smart on the 1960s series Get Smart.
@@kaistzar2831 Kind of the other way around: Inspector Gadget started airing in 1983, the original Transformers cartoon in 1984. So Megatron was played by Dr Claw. ;)
Anyone else *Love* how he has 3 of the arms out his head so he can put his actual arms behind his back??? Anyone else peeved that in the image here he practically *Wants* Brain's help, but in the cartoon chases Brain like Brain's a M.A.D. operative?!?!? I *CANNOT* be the _ONLY_ one!!!!
Brain is usually in disguise when he follows Gadget around, since he's not supposed to be there. Presumably, this time the inspector brought him on purpose.
@Cooked Poptart hey look buddy I’m an engineer that means I solve problems not problems like what is beauty because that would fall within The pert views of your conundrums of philosophy I solve practical problems for instance how am I gon stop some big mean mother Hubbard from tearin me a structurally superfluis (f for my writing) new behind use a gun and it that don’t work use more gun like this heavy caliber tripod mounted little old number designed by me built by me and your best hope not pointed at you. (Cue awesome music)
I remember back when I was a kid, switching through channels, then I hear this lovely theme and I just couldn't resist. Was never a huge fan of Gadget, but the theme song seriously made it memorable.
I so totally grew up watching the Inspector Gadget cartoon series and considered the theme song to be absolutely, totally and without a doubt magnificently classical and timeless.
Because it hails from a time the theme song was intended to sell you on watching the cartoon instead of a blurb of sound for tradition's sake these days.
@@MsDudette21 cause it's true, rather I say it slaps harder than recoil of the assault rifle that the school shooter feels when he's spraying down a hall or atrium
This theme has been stuck in my head for literally 3 decades now lol, ever since I watched this show as a kid I still find myself humming it randomly when shopping for groceries.
To anyone wondering here are the actual facts of how the inspector gadget cartoon was made : Inspector Gadget is an animated science fiction comedy series from the mid-1980s co-created by Andy Heyward, Jean Chalopin and Bruno Bianchi,[4] and was originally syndicated by DIC Audiovisuel and Lexington Broadcast Services Company. The series stars the voice of Don Adams as the titular character, and first premiered on September 12, 1983. It is the first cartoon show to be syndicated by DIC, who specifically created the series to help expand into the North American market, and the first animated series to be presented in stereo sound. The program originally ran from 1983 to 1986, broadcasting 86 episodes over two seasons, and remained in syndication into the late 1990s. The show revolves around the adventures of a clumsy, dim-witted detective named Inspector Gadget-a cyborg human with various bionic gadgets built into his body-who is sent on missions to thwart plans by his nemesis Dr. Claw, the leader of an evil organization known as "M.A.D.", unknowingly being assisted by his niece Penny and their dog, Brain.[5]
And there you have it,it's not based of lupin anything, not lupin the 1st 2nd or 3rd it has literally NOTHING to do with a Japanese anime . Heck you can't even point out two things that would even remotely make them similar.
Man this tune is nostalgic. Haven’t watched the cartoon in years, despite it being a childhood favourite, but I do sometimes now and then start humming the theme tune.
I think you would find this interesting; inspector gadget partially happened because they were trying to make a western version of Lupin the third for kids, it was supposed to be a sci-fi version called Lupin the 8th. The show never happened but the crews basically split off into the teams for Lupin part 3 (pink jacket) and inspector G
And all jokes aside sorry If I offended you or anyone else, I know that joking about suicide may anger people. And I understand why, but if you do ever feel depressed please don't listen to this joke. I posted this for comedic purposes and I do not encourage suicide. And if there is a slim chance that anyone reading is thinking about taking their own life please remember if you feel like you have nothing to live for or no one cares about you keep in mind I care about you. Even though I don't know you personally, I think your life matters. You make someone happy in the world whether it be IRL or online you've made someone smile and they care about you and that's all that matters.
I remember watching this show when I was 6. I found it very creepy and it had an odd vibe but I loved it. Since my first language is Finnish and at the age of 6 I didn't know English and I didn't know how to read I only could watch it without understanding anything. I'm so happy that I finally found this series once again.
Oh I get what you mean. I get that too(as in that happens to me as well) huh, I was little bit worried I might have gonna insane when that happened.lol
god makes me old watching this as a kid and to know different versions of the show exist nowdays for the newer generations kinda gives me a smile ya know such a good show
I was singing this in Walmart yesterday and my mom goes: “why are you singing the inspector gadget theme song..? I didn’t even know you knew what that was.” I didn’t know how to tell her I heard it from a cosplay Tiktok so I short circuited instead.
You ever wonder what it be like if they made a dark version of this series where he was actually a serious and competent detective? I do every now and again
