I'm 15 and would love to help change the Scottish education system as I am experiencing first hand the standardised dystopia that plagues the minds of youngsters everywhere. I am extremely passionate about education and inspiring children to develop relevant life skills rather than micro-managing their careers and obsessing over test scores. Is there anywhere I can go to try make a difference?
It's the same in Australia. I suspect this is an international problem. Education has become an industry, especially at tertiary level. The dumbing down of teacher training hasnt helped. Yes, we are all on the cliff's edge.
