Grant, this is a kick butt video on sales! I consistently watch for GREAT videos that cut through all the "stupidity" of "regurgitated" process selling. When you're a veteran sales person who has always been atop the leader board, you take on this interesting persona and for that, you get called names like "Premadonna", etc. Like you, I'm BLIND to political correctness. I only know how to tell it like it REALLY is! That doesn't mean, just my customers. It means the idiot who schedules 4 extra meetings a week to tell us something an email could handle, or the grossly overkill CRM data that's old the moment we type it in, etc... But, for telling the truth, and getting people to stop wasting our time, we take on the names associated with keeping it REAL... I "LOVE" the energy, vision and no bullshit straight line approach you take! it is REFRESHING to see people get back down to the root of honesty and re-communicate that honesty in a STRAIGHT LINE!! Keep posting these videos! I am now a fan and follower!! I find your message to be on the same level as: Tony Robbins, Mark Cuban, and if I add a little political correctness, but the same punch... Love your attitude Grant! I stumbled upon you when you did the interview with Lewis. These techniques not even taught in schools which I agree definitely not taught in career centers for interviewing and selling either. It's sad that knowledge like this isn't taught at all I am looking at your techniques to use in job interviews to really sell myself. When you talked about success and how it's about preparation; if that saying was said enough there wouldn't be lazy people at all. Also, 40 yr thinking doesn't mean it will work today. I also said that about today's economy still teaching old crap thinking it "may still work just try it anyway" is just bull. I tell people with my situation I don't care about the past I am looking ahead meaning what will work for me TODAY? It's about TODAY not 15 years ago. I want career advice that's gonna work TODAY the thinking of today is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result - I know this video pertains to sales. I had an interview a couple months ago on how would I close a sale which I had no idea how to answer the question but I did my best and the interviewer had to give me an example of how to do it. Next time if that happens, I should review how to close a sale - this was a position with base pay and commission. I've had past managers felt I could be a good saleswoman long ago I went for jobs to do sales got told I was too timid and I said "I don't want to pressure don't want to be mean to the customers." I wanted to go into business for myself I like the idea of freedom and having a lot of money doing what I want (have no kids) just couldn't bring myself to do sales dropped the idea long ago.

The information given here by far has the most impacting motivation material in today's "how to" and be success at what you do. Grant speaks to people from all areas of life which brings their spark within, and that's called omnipresence. Whoever misunderstands Grant in this video is simply being naturally honest with the sharing of his own state of the journey, and is still practicing the reality about business, therefore he or she is not actually there yet to understand the lingo of the treasures.

Great talk! I do Coaching and Training in Shanghai. The market is hard to penetrate, and its hard to survive, making it a perfect place to dominate. Although I do like Coaching which is soft, I hit the place hard. SEO, Coaching Groups, Social groups, I even started training people to be coaches just to further dominate. It's all about mindset. A GFC, a challenging job, a break up, a business collapse. All opportunity if you CHOOSE TO SEE IT.

Hi Grant, Im 25 years old now and always have worked just go get by, I have a 4 year old son and in the last few months something has just got hold of me to say I want to 'make it' I don't want to be working for pay checks each month, I want to make it on my own and have endless possibilities! I want to provide and decide bro. be a student of success…never resent it, always admire it and try to embody it while shedding old bad thinking habits. If you seek it, you will find a way. By asking questions like you did here it seems the journey has started :)
Peter, 1.) change you attitude. project yourself and your path. Once you change it, you need to wear it like a nice suit. 2.) using #1, consider changing your reality. find a better opportunity, pound on some doors, ask for a better job, get a better job. 3.) ask for advice, not ideas - nobody is going to tell you want business to be in, that's your job. Once you find it, find a mentor, a book, etc. Become an expert, an authority, etc.
