I remember the old KMART I would shop there, always headed to the religious music section to look fir Inspirations music. This group's music has blessed me through the years. Back then also we still had Bible stores where their music was found. Now thank God they're on RU-vid.
If I known of this song in 2013 I probably would have had this sung at my husband's funeral. After battling colon cancer, at least he is no longer in pain, and is victoriously in the presence of the Lord.
I first heard this song while driving to work. I almost had to pull over. My wife of 48 years passed away in 2013 after a 23 year battle with scleroderma. This song had great meaning to me
I heard this song for the first time a few days ago. My wife passed away June 11, 2018 after an eight year battle with Alzheimer's. A moving and emotional song with such encouragement for those of us still here on earth.
I was grieving for my son which died in 11-2013 and God sent this song to touch my heart. I'll see him again in heaven. He is there with all my family. I'll join them one day and you can play this for me.
If you ever lose a loved one, listen to this song. Always makes me go from being sad to being happy for them that they got to move on to be with the Lord.
@@michaelkapp4722 your welcome. Pain is recent for myself. Just yesterday my dad was buried. I lost him a week ago. I love my daddy so much and miss him so. Just last year him and my mom celebrated there 50th wedding anniversary.
@@dad7275 Both my sets of grandparents just barely made it to 50 years together. I'll pray for you. I have lost a friend recently at 64. Just a comfort to know she's in Heaven.

After a blessed day like I had, nothing better than a hymn so inspired like this one. These old songs bring blessings to my life and the words of this particular hymn has a very deep meaning. The piano and the string bass makes this even better. The quartet sings very anointed. Their voices combined with the instrumental makes a song to close our eyes and give thanks to God for songs like this. Thanks Mark Cash for post this video.

I love this song. It reminds me of my sweet DADDY. HE went home to JESUS 20 years ago. So sick, struggling to breathe. Heart failure, cancer. But PRAISE GOD he s not suffering no more. This may sound crazy but it didn't bother me half as bad to see him in his coffin as it did to see him suffering. He looked so peaceful. I truly believe this is what he d tell us if he could that things are much better in Heaven. GLORY TO THE FATHER. ❤
I can easily envision my little brother Eddie, my little sisters Diane and Elaine telling our family if we only knew. Rest in peace my younger siblings... I miss you all so much.
For 2 years we prayed for healing for my dear momma....she got her healing Arpil 15th 2019.. in heaven. She's not suffering anymore. RIP momma we miss u but we know I will see u again.
This song have a very deep message. Many and many times we pray to God but we want HIM to do on our way.. At 2:36 Mike put more meaning yet when he sing: "we are having a great celebration" . Thanks God for songs like this.
I just lost my best friend to cancer. We had been friends since 2nd grade and are now 66 years old. This is what I know she is saying and I look forward to the day I join her
this was sang at my aunts funeral she passed after her year long fight with cancer. may she rest in peace. she will be missed but, we will meet again on the other side.
Not quite the original but this is my favorite lineup of the Inspirations. And really like the traditional two floor microphones set up too. Of all their repertoire this song has to be one of, if not the, very best.

Just remember,Jesus on the 3rd day was raised from the dead ,then he returns to Earth in his Glory body and spend time with the disciples. Just make sure you know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and saviour and repent of your sins so you can stay out of HELL.
If you only knew this song is doctrinally incorrect. The bible teaches that the dead will not live till Jesus returns. Even in your loved one was righteous at death he or she have to wait on the resurrection .
This song has helped so many people! It is so beautiful, if it helps so many broken hearts then don't try to take that from so many brokenhearted people. We all know what the bible says but if this helps so many people just let it be a song. Thank you!

Christ will bring those who have died with him at the Rapture to be reunited with their eternal body at the trumpet sound - when the dead in Christ rise first. but until that time, they aren't in "soul sleep", they aren't disenfranchised in the cosmos somewhere, they are with Christ in the spirit. like it says in the Bible.
