I’ve always been a huge fan of the group of seven. The landscape is so inspiring and living in northern Ontario I get to experience the changing seasons and landscapes year round. Great review of the book and the group of artists. Thanks.

That's so nice to hear! Have you been to many of the places they paint?

a group more people need to know about, yes people know the basics but not how Canadian they actually were lol. we studied them so much in high school art, i'm sure some people got bored, but I was glad to learn more about Canadian painters rather than painters from countries I had never been. I have been back and forth from B.C, to Nova Scotia a few times, def worth doing at least once to see Canada on a persons own time 😀

Yes, we often hear about the famous folks from mainland Europe and the modern artists from USA as well, but not so much other countries! I'm looking forward to sharing more of my art books on "obscure artists" soon. I've always wanted to see more of Canada but no idea when or if! Thanks for your comment and watching the video! 👍

its a big place, Ontario is nice and there is lots to see there, but nova scotia is nice too, a bit more laid back and quite compared to alot of the places in Ontario too :)

I used to love reading the Anne books - set in Nova Scotia / PE Island - and dream of visiting one day!

Ugh, I wish the book is a hardcover with a book cover, is there such book?

I'm not sure if they did a hardcover edition, but I've had this book for several years, look through it regularly and the spine is still solid. It's a very heavy book so maybe they did it to reduce weight as well as production costs? 💛

Your videos are very good but you will get better results if you give proper title description
