Okay, I love this! I worked for 30 years as a Paralegal, last 23 in a satellite office. I gave 15-minute pep-talks first thing Friday mornings, and this was something we touched on, FREQUENTLY. Every single one of us was 100% responsible for the client, work product, editing, billing, collections. We were a TEAM. The CLIENT was our focus, and paid our salaries. Without clients, we were nothing. Business was very good, we worked so well together. I miss it. 💜 Thank you for this reminder.

When you put your name behind anything its always best to follow it from start to finish because your name behind anything you do in life always is your trademark of your work ethics or even you as a person and how people will view you through life goals & rewards ❤🙌 #AlwaysBeYourBest

Really enjoyed the video. By taking 100% responsibility there was no longer the ability to rationalize mistakes of he did it, she did it. The ability to take responsibility and follow the project all the way through eliminated mistakes no matter where they were made

Actually, it was only because if the incentives that they acted, that the leadership set up, and was willing to enforce. In our real lives, God laws are the standard by which we measure ourselves. They only acted because they believed in the consequences, and realized that they did not want them. Now, if they had recognized that they were accountable to God to do their best within that situation, then they might have tried harder, but it’s still better to have things set up so you don’t have to fight against what’s already there.

Wow! What a great message! I agree that one must take accountability for their actions, but I don’t think they should suffer for someone else’s error. If they uncover a mistake, though, they should seek to make it right

You are responsible for that which you are not responsible for. “And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;” - Mosiah 18:8

Remind me of a time I interviewed for a job and they asked me what I thought about QA . I had no idea at the time what that meant. I quickly learned what it was and the importance of a system of checks and balances for almost every job I've worked since that interview.

The opposite to the "victim mentality" way is personal responsibility. One provides progress and satisfaction. The other produces degeneration and depression.

I get the message, but the truth here is that money was the driving factor in this scenario and in life, sad to say. Instead of inspiring the team to lower errors, they threatened them with financial punishment. That's when they decided to actually do their job in its entirety.
