No, I didn't overlook her- I needed to force her into catharsis or we would have been sitting here devolving and fighting for years. I spend a lot of money, yes- it may be "unnecessary," but I was spending just as much on her as I was on myself- I refurnished an entire bedroom to exactly what she wanted and did my standard prepper shit- most of what I was buying was furniture, cleaning supplies and shit like organic soaps and deodorants... it ain't like I was buying a dozen pair of snakeskin boots and a golden hat, ffs. My house looked like a pigsty, and I didn't want to live like that anymore- I kept explaining to her that the cleaner my home is, the healthier I am, it was not vanity- I actually mean that. Why the hell does she need patience? She just needed to listen and stop maintaining a lack mindset- her mom put that shit on her, not me. When people are lecturing me about how I'm going to go broke and fail, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'm still a bit flattered that she thinks I'm so hot- I think I look like a crime scene, but she's the one who needs to look at me. I know what she wants- I saw her vision of our wedding, and I'm down with it... it's a little unorthodox for me to be in a white tux while she's in a black and red dress, but I'm not gonna lie- it was pretty hot. She better come in quick- right now-ish would be the perfect time, I just finished (early because the ones I wanted to see were in the afternoon) the first day of a three-day metal festival, so I am grinning and buzzing- I'm not in the mood to fight anyone. Yes I am getting younger- and I stand out... 99% of the people there today were dressed all in black, but I was wearing white and blue plaid pants with a tan shirt and was sitting on a really expensive lawn chair smoking a pipe. I didn't have her on a pedestal, but I was more than aware of the chemistry- all she's gotta do is come home. I mean, there's no promises, but it's not like I gave up on her. I don't know how many people are really that attracted to me, I know there are some, but I don't really count people who I have zero interest in. I'm about 270 pounds of lean muscle mass (I weigh more than that, but I've been cut like a weightlifter before) She's... well, she's Gen Z. I'm not criticizing that, because I like soft girls, but there's not much muscle on her. A lot of new people are entering my life- it took a while after she left, but I've got my mojo back. I tell ya one thing- if you go to a concert alone, and sit in a big empty spot on a chair the size of a throne dressed differently than anyone else with Gandalf hair and puffing on a cherry-scented pipe, people don't even have to know you- they just automatically assume you're a boss and like ya... I don't actually enjoy being a "lone wolf," but other people seem to think it's something amazing.
