Even AMITABH BACCHAN'S family was close to INDIRA GANDHI but that cannot be considered as contacts in film industry. A person who's family member was never related to film industry is considered as an outsider. If SRK has contacts, then he would not have not struggled to get big banner movies. DARR was his first big banner movie where he got the offer only because actors like AAMIR KHAN, SANJAY DUTT, AJAY DEVGAN refused to play negative role. Inspite of such hugely talented, he had to wait for his sucess. On the other hand, actors like AAMIR, SALMAN, HRITHIK, SANJAY DUTT, SUNNY DEOL got their first breaks easily due to their family background. They definitely proved their talent and skill with hard work and dedication but their first break was not so hard for them. Inspite of giving several flops and B GRADE movies, ABHISHEK BACCHAN continued to get films. He proved himself in the later half of his career, but if he would have been a person outside industry, he would not have got so many opportunities. So person with background gets the opportunity and they just need to utilize that. On the other hand, self made person has to create their opportunity as well as utilize that.

@@AdityaRaajkumar-hf1zx No comparison with struggle of actors like SRK, YASH. SALMAN struggled in terms of getting successful movies as his first few movies did not worked at box office. But he did not have to struggle to get the first few chances. His father SALIM KHAN is one of the most successful writer in film industry and had huge influence. But SRK and YASH struggled to get even the opportunities at the beginning of their career. In addition to this, they also had to handle the pressure of carrying on their personal life before getting succeeded.
