This is made by Insta360 - I think the chances of them ever making DJI-compatible products would be zero!

@@Ozpeter Ummm, maybe. I think they should make it open to external mics or make their own solution, like the Pocket line in DJI. I'd have bought the Go 3 if it was 4K and had external audio. GoPro has the ability with the Media Mod, Action 2 & 3 both have external audio right from their USB-C ports.

Hi Tamara, can this connect to the phone to give a clean video feed. Or do you know any camera that can give a clean feed that doesn't show the osd / hud. I want to use streamlabs mobile to stream the screen. Currently using dji pocket 2. Mimo app can't do it. Thanks

Can't hero feeling a little disappointed in this. If they give us a charging case like the GO2 , it's a viable replacement for when my GO2 dies or gets lost. Make it so Insta360 !!! :-)

not really impressed by it. there was no advantage keeping it the same shape as the V2, and that is its biggest limiting problem. i would have expected a better lens for V3

I wouldn’t use this as a main vlogging camera. For me it’s the kind of camera that you use to get the shots that wouldn’t be possible with any other camera, because of its small size. And that’s how I currently use it. It’s great for action, POV, etc, but it’s not a vlogging camera, in my opinion.

You can get a filter for lens protection.

Hey 👋🏾 If you mean the PowerShot V10 they’re two very different cameras with very different use cases so you can’t really draw a direct comparison. As far as I’m aware you can’t pause recording with the GO 3.

As usual on this channel, a great entertaining review. But I'm going to resist this one - personally I always use horizon levelling with the Go2, so I wouldn't use the slightly higher resolution of this one. And in my usage I don't actually have issues with capacity or battery life. And the field of view is sufficiently wide that a monitor isn't usually needed. Still, it's all down to use case and I'm sure this one will be a must-buy for some people.

Yeah, I wouldn't put it in the same category as the Pocket 2, it's too different in its use case. If you wanna vlog, for example, I'd stick with the Pocket 2.

Yep it does. You can change the fov in the camera or in the Studio App when shooting in the FreeFrame video mode. I had it on Linear A lot of the time.
