I am not a professional photographer but comparing it to One X2, in the daytime the quality of images is no better than One X2 but during the nighttime and in low light situations there is a distinguishable quality difference. Given that I am still not convinced to pay the premium for a camera that does not have such a big jump in quality in every situation.

I have an insta360X2. I notice that on this model the 360 ​​° shots are very similar in quality. Part of it is the bitrate limitation that RU-vid compression offers in part, in my opinion, is that you should switch to 8K to see fewer compression artifacts. Moreover, these 5,7 or 6K spread over 360 ° when you see the film you see only a part of it, say 90-100 degrees, so the result is a drastic reduction in visual quality. Then the artifacts of video compression or excessive edge extractor appear evident.Here we have a video made with a lot of light, so with low ISO the X2 as soon as you increase the ISO there is a lot of noise. In this one, probably with a one-inch sensor it is less noticeable. It is also true that the more you increase the resolution or the bit rate, the more you need to have high-performance computers and therefore also the chain of players and readers that manage these flows well. Other fact are the supplied software. The one to manage on the smartphone is much more performant than the one on the desktop and it is not clear why they cannot be the same. I honestly can't manage a video on a smartphone screen. Another thing is to manage it in post-production with Finalcut or Premiere. Best regards

Hallo, danke fürs Zeigen. Die Kamera scheint das gleiche Problem zu haben, wie die ONE R. Durch das dicke Gehäuse sind die beiden Linsen zu weit auseinander und die Software kann das Stitching nicht so gut lösen wie bei der dünneren ONE X2. Bei den Aufnahmen mit dem Stativ sollte der empfohlene Mindestabstand zum Boden groß genug sein, dass es keine Stitchingprobleme im Nadirbereich geben sollte. Funktioniert in der Praxis anscheinend leider nicht.

Thank you for providing some test footage from the 1-incher! The sound quality on all Insta360 cameras is pretty atrocious. I heard that it's recording at a low sample rate, like 16k even though the hardware would be capable of more. The audio track may SAY it is 48k but the actual recorded audio is still only in 16k quality (so it's just "blurry pixels", if you will). So everything sounds nasty. External microphones plugged in to it with an adapter will suffer the same fate. One is better off recording the audio with a separate device (and then getting them synced .. so make sure you do your sync cues).
