Tena Koutou. I’ve been away for seven months. Hardout filming the Book of Boba. Cool fight scenes, makeup… But one thing I’ve really missed is this hidden gem, here in my hometown Rotorua. Ahhhhhhhhhh… The Polynesian Spa. Come on New Zealand, try something new… Ah, there are no words…

At the moment, I prefer what I was getting out of trueaudio from the One X. Unexpected but true - need to run more audio tests...

It’s a sulphurous hot spring and / or other corrosive minerals - so this definitely wasn’t the place to test that

We're unsure if X2 would be a better compliment to our smartphone vs Mavic Mini when recording our travels. Whats the longest you can record on X2? Seems drones have a higher learning curve than X2. Thanks

I notice that the resolution always looks a bit spongy despite Full HD. Why is that so?

It’s 5.7k over the whole so sphere - so it’s 1080p over the flat screen and there’s less detail when editing on the mobile app. So, those two factors combined.

@@TheTechPacker I experience the same problem in my videos. Surprisingly, editing on the desktop 360 studio software didn't make a big difference to me. More important is not to zoom in too much. And, there's another litte thing to mention: the mobile app lets you zoom in way too deeply, while the desktop software stops at a shorter focal length. So you are able to produce far worse quality on your mobile editing, but the reason stays the same: don't zoom excessively. Second, there's a lack in low-light performance. a fully covered sky is already a visible deterioration. These two factors are guilty for most of the sponginess and compression-artifacts.
