Fantastic idea but on using, you WILL LOSE MOST GPS SATELLITES. Had it for 3 weeks now and no matter how I set it going, GPS goes from 26 down to 8 or 9, the drone then starts to drift with it on, and the noise of the propellers can still be heard 800m away (without it's about 400m) The android app and pc program they provide to use the data exports at an awful quality no matter how you try to export it. You can't export anything flat in any decent quality, 360 quality is better but still has lots of issues calculating the distance between the 2 cameras and has a lot of wobble. Oh and only ever fly in a straight line, and be prepared for it to drop in height as you fly due to losing more GPS and wait for anything close on the video to be bent out of shape.
@@renderinghues yes, way too much wobble. The camera doesn't cope with it all. You can go to a building and go up, over and down but you have to stay quite far away as the gap between the top and bottom lens never gets calculated correctly and looks like there's a bit missing. So glad I managed to return mine and got my full refund. Such a shame as it could of been so good.
This is exactly what I have been waiting for a long time. I love the. Unfortunately, compatibility with Apple devices is not the same as it used to be. Starting the recording is complicated on the drone. Wish it would also be possible with the Apple watch.
Has anyone successfully adapted this to the Mavic Air (original). That would make a new use for an otherwise good drone that I don't use since I got a Mini 3 Pro.
Don't really want to go outside with the bugs and sunburn. All this is going to do is proliferate FVp0sers with no aerobatic skillz. As if the hobby hasn't tanked enough from Bardwell overloading it with noobz to pad his view count and patreon grifting operation.
I wish Insta360 would create the same one for a smaller drone like the DJI Mini 3. This one will more helpful since we don't need to get a permit to use it in other countries because of its low weight specifications.
@@renderinghues They would usually look at the weight of the drone only, so with the current drone it goes to, it already exceeds the weight limit. If the drone that is being used is the DJI mini 3 or any DJI mini versions, it will be allowed to fly since it is a sub 250g drone. Of course, you will not say that you'll use this with the drone when you fly it.
