Yay! At last someone has carefully demonstrated and analysed the sharpness settings which can make a huge difference. On low, it seems to me that the whole point of the 8k 360 capture is thrown away. I agree that medium is the best choice. It is the default setting but some reviewers have advised low. I really don't think they have looked carefully at the result, like you have. Excellent work!

good info and comparisons; will now try shooting at "MED' sharpness; typically, I shoot at 'LOW'; do you have any findings about shooting at -1 EV? I also shoot with a FLAT color profile - it's too bad the X4 doesn't have a true log color which would offer more versatility in color grading. Nonetheless, with these various image settings, I'd rather control/manipulate the video output to my liking rather than having Insta360 do so.
