The prelaunch phase is probably the most important step and the after launch phase is a bit underestimated. You really need to put up effort into warming up the audience. Btw, love doing lives when announcing the launch too! Great breakdown of the process. 🙂

It's so easy to poke fun at movie studios for starting the trailer "for a trailer" trend, but people eat it up anyway. Goes to show that pre-launch marketing is the low-hanging fruit of any launch.

Thanks this was helpful, except that most videos (not yours only) talk about how your product should solve a problem or a need, but what if you're selling accesories no one really needs? :[ I'm launching my pokémon earrings soon and that kind of statement discourages me, i feel like i need a whole new strategy no one really talks about so idk what to do to launch

I love all your information! I have a question, I sell paintings that I make. So when I try to create content to launch a new collection, I don't know how to package it. I don't know what to say about what problem I am solving for my customers. How do I create excitement around it? I just don't want to say...hey, look at my paintings, they are beautiful, buy them please and thank you. Do you know what I mean? :)
Hi Maria, I hear you...it is really not easy to do as it was said. I have the same problem...from watching those videos I know what I am supposed to do, but don't know how to do that...for instants - make that hype around the new product, or create curiosity or...I know what are the steps, but how to do them well is a problem for me...But maybe finding someone to do that for us...platforms for freelancers are good one :)...
I made a photobook but didn’t do the “pre launch” phase as I was putting alot of energy not to look like a idiot saying I’m going to do something and it didn’t work out. (Happened before) now I have the product ready to go but now no one will be interested since I haven’t done the pre launch smh fail
