I spent the day with Instagrammers in The Black Forest and Colmar.
Today, I had the chance to explore some cool places with some instagrammers in real life. It's always fun getting to meet some of the other people who you know through instagram finally. I think it's always so refreshing to find out that 99.9% of the time they are just as cool in real life as online.
Today, I spent significant time with @Tiffpenguin @Stevenfingar and @nelissamale. We started the day exploring The Black Forest where we found a really cool series of waterfalls. Obviously, when instagrammers see a waterfall and some foggy weather, it makes them very happy. Of course, it's not like I'm saying that the top instagrammers only shoot waterfalls, but who doesn't like a good waterfall photo?
After photographing the falls, we headed back to our Viking River Cruise boat for lunch.
In the afternoon, the instagram team headed into Colmar, France for a couple hours of exploration and photography.
It was a bit of a challenge shooting Colmar because of the fact that it was the middle of the day, but we had fun, and Colmar is such a beautiful city. I'd love to get back to the town and spend about a week shooting the various alleys and details.
Then, it was back to the boat. It kind of poured rain on the crew so we just took it easy in the evening.
