I ordered the king tourpak and liners and they installed them before I received them. Tourpak and liners are better than Harley's and nearly half the price. Will be buying extended saddlebags later in the build, meanwhile putting lots of miles on a 2016 Road Glide.
Steve, my son just got me a pair of the black stitch for my birthday for my 2016 SGS denim black. Put the left one in quickly..will do the right one tomorrow when I have a few minutes cause it has the shelf unit on that side ...love them.. thanks for the install info.

Hey Kevin....we did get to ride this one a few times but very briefly...however I did ride my buddies for a few days and yes they drive very nice...don't have all that fairing weight to contend with. And the guys saying they don't like it because the fairing doesn't move..man..I didn't even notice really..when your riding you lean to turn anyway so the fairing doesn't move...turning around in the parking lot you will notice it BUT I couldn't get over how good it turned at slow speeds without the weight, so much that I didn't notice the fairing not moving lol ...does cut through the wind pretty nice too! Im sold on it. I wont ever get rid of the SG though. Now the newer 15 up fairing looks better I can dig it. Everything is off to powder right now...but in 2 weeks we will back and we have a ton of parts to put on her.
Thanks Steve. I felt the same way after riding my sister-in-laws. I didn’t like the old fairing either and had planned on a SG before I rode the RG. Really enjoying this build and I’m really taking a liking to the Amber Whiskey color. Never considered that color before. Anticipating how the blacked out will look. Keep ‘em rollin!
The 5 to 6 weeks lead time is for paint...not shipping. We are currently processing tons of orders and the painted parts are paint by order. HD themselves are about 7 to 8 weeks and direct competitors of ours is 3 months. If have any other questions please let us know.
Great video...I just ordered a chopped tour pack with liner so this is helpful...question: for the top liner, is the cutout for the tether pre cut or is that something we would need to do? Thanks
Man great videos, but I need HELP. Chopped tour pack and 2-up mounting bracket seems to sit way to high. 5” from bottomed bag to top of saddle bag lid. HELP !!!!!!!
What do u do if your pack came but was not predrilled for the rack? I was trying to find an install video. What size drill bit do I use? Is it to it the plastic spacer?
Looking at a color-matched razor pak for my Deluxe, but don't need the backrest. Can the razor pak be ordered without the pre-drilled holes for the backrest? Thanks
Steve - recently bought my wife an advanblack king pak for her RGS. She keeps finding the lid popped open. Latch doesn't seem to be keeping it down. Any tips/recommendations
@@Advanblack yes sir. Pre-drilled luggage rack holes. Went ahead and ordered everything together. I was told that would go to the custom order area and it would be 4 to 6 weeks for me to get the King Tour Pack. Man those lines are gorgeous though
The tour pack will come pre drilled for the Harley tour pack racks. However that being said you can always re drill the bottom of the tour pack to fit your holes. We have sold several to people that own various bikes that were not HD
@@Advanblack thank you for the reply this helps a great deal now I want the King are they all the same? The reason I'm asking is I noticed i have to put the type of bike i have if i had a HD but since i don't. What bike (HD) should I put for my Vulcan Nomad 1700 ph and my luggage rack is 10x10.
You can technically install the chopped pad on a king pack but it will place the pad pretty high due to the height of the king pack. If you already have the king pad on there now and you are wanting to put the small one on then yes there will be a hole on each outer edge when you remove the pad that wont be covered by the smaller pad.
