And if you go to msdn.microsoft.com/de-de/library/jj151815.aspx to download the Azure Stuff you will be directed to docs.microsoft.com/en-us/collaborate/connect-redirect that says that Microsoft Connect is down. Therefore you should use docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/azure/install-azurerm-ps?view=azurermps-5.4.0 to get Azure installed for powershell. Shane, what would be the bare minimum subscription required to get started with PS for O365? I currently don't have a sub and don't want to fork out for a sub that's way more than is required.
Not totally sure. As long as you are the Global Administrator, whatever features you have purchased, you should have access to. Are you a Microsoft Partner? They give you free demo accounts if you are.
It just depends on my mood. Sometimes I use the ISE and sometimes I use the console. But you should always use start-transcript no matter what to keep a log.
I don't have a home subscription to test with but isn't home mainly just a download of the Office clients? So there would not be anything to administer online? What are you hoping to do with PowerShell?
