Great review. It would be awesome if it did like you mentioned and wrapped the outside edge of the goal.

Yep, same here Chase, all of my Tornado's chipped nets and behind the nets too, I just ordered a set of these, hopefully it will lessen the damage. Cheers

I use white duct tape for the purpose of protecting the front edges of the goal during my practice sessions. Simply cut two approximately 3.5" strips and lay them face up. Then cut 6 shorter strips at 1.75" and place3 of them per strip, sticky side to sticky side, to the middle of the two larger strips. Apply more short strips if you want more "cushioning". The strip can now be placed to protect the goal edge without the sticky side of the tape actually contacting the exposed MDF on the goal edge AND behind the goal edge. You don't want the tape to peel away any of the MDF on the side or back of the goal mouth when you remove it for tournament play. The tape will stick to the outside laminate and the side of the goal in the back. If done properly, the strips can be removed and re-applied quickly and easily multiple times, depending on wear. The solution is cheap, easy and works remarkably well. Good luck and happy foosing!
