@sauravrukd @sauravrukd this video was about how to set up a BT home hub 2.0 hope this can give you and idea on how to set yours up make sure yours hub supports loopback that allows you to access it internal using a web address loopbk is only if you or your other computers on your network want to access it, if yours does not just use the computers ip address and should work fine. the out side world should be able to use the web address fine i new have a home hub 3.0 and they don't support loopbk

@sauravrukd hey yes you will have to leave your computer on 24/7 if you want them to access the website. all pc will damages over time make sure it is well ventilated (all fans can get new air "not in close cupboard") and you check your fans for dust it should be fine mine runs on a laptop 24/7 and has been on for 4 year :) and still running so it should be fine

@SilentHERO7 yes you can use a programme called hamachi that will create a virtual network if you would like a video on how to set this up just ask :)

the remote host which i had purchased last time contained HOST NAME and IP-ADDRESS... Like domain name are host names also registered??

How would I use a world wide web name instead of an ip address? I have a local domain and want to build an intranet web page that i can access via internally using a web address name and not an internal ip. I also created a web server on the server running the domain controller. Thanks.

hello Die4Game i know it is 2 months ago but if you need help i will use teamviewer. I was using teamviewer years ago but went to use it now they have really made it work really well was so buggy few years back so if you ever need it i will willingly user teamviewer in future

strange, the only thing i can think of at the min is your antivirus is blocking the website try disabling it

Hi what about sharing sql server database over the internet. My sql server database is successfully shared over the LAN and now i want to have access to it from all the computers over the internet. My router type is tplink (adsl).. please help me if you know

will i have to turn my computer on for 24 hours.. Will it not damage the pc.. There are some big companies who keep their computer on for 24 hours.. Are those computer different than ours?

hello yahya first of thanks for taking the time to watch my videos. Now the only problem with a mobile dongle is that they are not really designed for incoming connections you will need to check with the provider network i am sorry i would not give you any more help with this issue thanks again for watching an good luck :) please contact me if you need any more assistance

Yes I tried it.But the same problem"Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 122.164.x.x:90". But two thing, *When I access my lan ip with port number(192.168.x.x:90),the IIS window host came up. *Then,When I access my lan ip without port(192.168.x.x),the XAMPP server window came up. So, I think my port for LAN is alright. Please,HELP me,my friend!!!!!!!!!

@fizzy6868 I mean SQL server 2005... I have successfully shared the the database over the LAN... For that i use connection string "data source='1923168.1.109' ; initial catalog='offdb'; user id='saurav'; password='*****'; integrated security='false';" Using this connection string i can connect to the central database from any computer over the internet.. Now i want to connect to the database of my office from my home.. Is that possible sir?

I set my port forwarding to 90,and I so checked my port in canyou seeme.com. There it shows"SUCCESS, I can see your service on 122.164.x.x on port (90). Your ISP is not blocking port 90". I port forwarding is alright but is some thing wrong. I made my firewall allow to my server. Please HELP ME my friend!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I did it like 122.168.x.x:90. But a messages" Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 122.164.x.x:90".Please try to help me.Thanks for the reply

I have done all the things you mentioned in parts 1 and 2. I am using a Netgear router and have made all ports (external and internal) set to 90, and connected to my internal IP address. Yet when I type my external ip address as a url, it shows "400 Bad Request". How can I fix this?

please can you try these steps below if these don't work can you please give me more information about the error as 400 can be many reason thanks for watching hope this helps you out, Note Typically, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server is installed and the default Web site is bound to an internal IP address and to the loopback address in Windows Small Business Server, Premium Edition. Additionally, a host header is typically not assigned to the loopback address in the default Web site. Run iis7 and do the following In the details pane, double-click ServerName(local computer). Double-click Web Sites, right-click Default Web Site, and then click Properties. In the Default Web Site Properties window, click the Web Site tab, and then click Advanced. Note Make sure that the internal IP address is listed under IP address and is bound to port 80. In the Advanced Web Site Identification window, click Add. Under Add/Edit Web Site Identification, type 127.0.0.1 in the IP address box. Type 80 in the TCP port box. Leave the Host Header Value box blank. Click OK three times.

fizzy6868 Hi, I did this as well. But didn't you host the web site using port 90? What is the use of making the internal IP bind to port 80? I wish I could give you more information about error 400, but the only thing I see when I use my external IP is "400 Bad Request", nothing else.

Akiv Jhirad i am sorry it never worked for you some routers dont like other ports the only other thing i can think of is to delete the website in iis and the App Pool and try the setup again it might of glitched out i hope this work i will look in to it work if that dont work sorry this has not been easy for you

ohh you are using your phone as the WiFi, well you might have a problem with that as there might not be a way to port forward
